I am a fully licensed mental health counselor that has over 15 years of experience in the field. I have gained vast knowledge of evidence based interventions, techniques and strategies through my work with children and families. My main area of expertise has come from working with Department of Child Services, Probation Departments, Foster Care and Medication Assisted Substance Use Treatment Facilities. In January 2020 I started my private practice Holistic Guidance LLC. My goal is to "come alongside" clients to walk with them through their journey to better mental health. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, a client can expect an open discussion about who they are, concerns that brought them to therapy, to ask any questions they may have, outline expectations and begin building the therapeutic relationship.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing as my main treatment methods. I also use a variety workbook, resources and activities as well.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My area of biggest expertise is working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, family relationships, and assisting clients in building confidence. I have worked with children, individuals and families that are struggling through difficult situations find solutions, peace and a plan to move forward.
