I'm Cat, a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I'm a Millennial Mom of 3 with some scrappy life experiences myself. I've worked extensively with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and complex trauma. My approach is a great fit for teens and women who want to have a place where they can be completely real, to unpack whatever they need to, and feel accepted by someone who truly believes things will get better. Many of my Clients have lived through serious betrayal and felt confused, absent, or unhinged by what happened. Then they come to therapy because they've been living life "at a 10" and want hope that they don't have to be this mad, this triggered, or this impacted anymore. I help Clients understand why this is happening and how to move forward in a way that feels strong and sure. For clients who desire it, I can integrate Biblical counseling. A space to explore how God's presence, grace, and Truth can support a full life.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have been practicing social work for the past 8 years. I am also a mother, wife, and a multitasker. I got into social work with the desire to help others. Growing up, I was always the one person people could turn to when they need someone to talk to and have someone listen. Life can be crazy, hectic, and take turns, that we did not necessarily plan for ourselves. I am here to help you navigate those unexpected turns. Having someone you can trust and talk to can be beneficial to get you through those life changing moments. My goal is to be that person for you. I believe coming to therapy is a sign of strength. It takes *guts* to reach out to a stranger in hopes they can help us improve our lives. Whether this is your first experience searching for therapy, or you’re familiar with the process and trying someone new, this can be intimidating. Knowing how hard coming to a therapist can be, I am proud to have helped hundreds of folks choose positive paths towards a more enjoyable life. I’ve been a licensed social worker for nearly two decades and am a graduate of The Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University. I’ve practiced in a variety of settings, urban and suburban, with all ages. I am a huge proponent of finding joy, humor and peace where you can. I bring that attitude into sessions. Occasionally my cats come, too.

I'm Kassandra, a Licensed Independent Social Worker trained at Case Western Reserve University. My clinical foundation was built doing crisis intervention and specialized trauma work with survivors of sexual assault, child abuse, and sex trafficking before. I became independently licensed. That experience isn't a line on a resume. It's the reason. I can sit with the hardest things clients bring in without needing them to minimize, manage, or explain themselves first. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults individually and with couples. I'm explicitly LGBTQIA+-affirming and have experience with transgender and identity-related concerns. Hi, I'm Jen, a Licensed Independent Social Worker and much of my career has been spent supporting individuals and families through some of life's most difficult moments. My professional experience spans outpatient and inpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, emergency medicine, and child welfare. These experiences have shaped the clinician I am today. They have taught me that people are far more than the hardest thing that has ever happened to them; and that healing rarely follows a straight line. The Person Behind the Therapist: I am LatinX and the daughter of a first-generation immigrant. My culture, family, and experiences have shaped how I see the world and understand the importance of connection, community, and belonging. As a social worker, I also believe that mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum. Our relationships, culture, identity, communities, access to resources, and experiences with larger systems can all affect our well-being. I am passionate about racial, social, and economic justice, and I bring that social-work lens into my practice. I am also proud to be an LGBTQIA+ ally and am committed to creating an affirming environment where people can feel respected and safe being themselves. You don't have to leave parts of yourself at the door when you come to therapy. What I Want You to Know: You don't need the right words. You don't have to know exactly where to begin. My role isn't to tell you who you should be or what your life should look like. My role is to listen, help you make sense of what you're experiencing, and walk alongside you as you work toward where you want to go. You simply have to take the first step. From there, we can begin together.

I work with smart, capable people who spend much of their time handling responsibilities, solving problems, and showing up for others - but struggle to say no, let go of perfectionism, or give themselves permission to slow down and just relax for a bit. I offer a thoughtful space to get curious about the expectations you place on yourself, why slowing down can feel so uncomfortable, and why saying no or disappointing others can leave you feeling anxious and guilt-ridden ~even when you know you want to. Together, we'll explore the patterns behind the challenges and find ways to make life feel a little easier and more sustainable.

Hi, I’m Shannon, and I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the start. I work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what’s next in their lives. Many individuals come to me for support with anxiety, depression, and life transitions, whether that’s navigating changes in relationships, career paths, identity, or overall direction. I also support children with challenges related to school, self-esteem, ADHD, and anxiety, helping them build confidence, coping skills, and emotional awareness in a supportive and age-appropriate way. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back and develop tools you can use in your everyday life to manage stress, build confidence, and move forward with intention. I believe therapy should not only help you feel better, but also give you skills that last beyond our sessions. Whether you’re working through a difficult period or simply looking for more direction and clarity, I’m here to support you in a way that feels approachable, grounded, and tailored to your needs. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to help.

Whether you want to explore childhood issues, heal from trauma, deal with work stress, address anxiety and depression symptoms, or something else, I can help you accomplish your goals. Do you feel un-help-able? Having spent ten years in community mental health, I have worked with people from all walks of life, with all different needs, and feel comfortable talking with most people about most things. I hope to cultivate a safe, open space to examine whatever aspect(s) of your life you seek clarity and/or change. Talking about trauma, stress, relationships, or other unhappy circumstances is difficult, and I do my best to make it easy and comfortable. Hi, I'm David. I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S), and I believe therapy works best when you can show up as yourself without feeling judged, analyzed, or expected to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. I enjoy working with adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, burned out, or simply trying to make sense of where they are in life and where they want to go next. Rather than telling you what you should do, I'll work along side you to better understand what's happening, identify what may be getting in your way, and find practical changes that fit your life. I value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. You can expect compassion and respect, but also honest conversation, thoughtful questions, and a little humor when appropriate. Therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical- it can be a place where you feel understood while also doing meaningful work toward the life you want.

My practice was born from the understanding that people who struggle often have filled their day to day lives with survival mechanisms: habits, actions, and thoughts that may have helped in the moment but become burdensome over time. The lasting effects of trauma can create an overwhelming sense of self-blame, leaving individuals questioning, "Am I the problem?" or "Did I do something wrong?" My practice exists to help individuals build a healthier "life worth living". Where pain, fear, sadness, anger, and memories can be honored rather than suppressed. It is a place where healthier coping skills are developed, empowering clients to create lives filled with resilience and meaning. I am a licensed clinical social worker who has six years of experience and graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a dual degree in Social Work and Nonprofit Organizational Management. Outside of work I love to travel, cook, and craft.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Youngstown State University and began my career working in foster care as a case manager, where I developed a strong foundation in advocacy, family systems, and trauma-informed care. I later expanded my clinical work as a mental health therapist in a school setting and within a collaborative program serving children involved in foster care, supporting clients through complex emotional and environmental challenges. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). My clinical experience includes counseling children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, low self-esteem, anger management concerns, and relationship challenges. In my practice, I utilize trauma-informed CBT, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based approaches, and motivational interviewing to support meaningful and lasting change. I believe healing occurs in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment, where clients feel empowered, respected, and actively involved in their mental health journey.

Hi! I'm Veronica, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) with over 12 years of experience providing therapy. Many of us yearn for a sense of peace, connection, and well-being in our lives. My goal is to support your growth and healing journey, empowering you to cultivate greater self-awareness, develop effective coping mechanisms, and live a more fulfilling life. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family (two teenagers and three dogs), practicing Pilates, and cheering on the Celtics. Hi, I’m Lisa. You know that cartoon of the little dog at the kitchen table sipping coffee while the house burns around him? Is that you? Have you been saying, “This is fine, this is OK” for way too long? If you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, or overwhelming stress; if something happened to you that’s making life hurt; if you feel your house is on fire and it’s just not “fine” anymore – I am here to listen and to help. You will find in me warmth, compassion, and an ability to truly listen until you know you’ve been understood. I will also bring to you everything I have learned in 10 years of working with clients who experience trauma, depression, and anxiety. Together, we will explore where you’re coming from, set our sights on where you’d like to go, and then build a plan to get you there. We will use evidence-based practices to strengthen what’s already strong in you, heal what hurts, and create new ways to thrive. Seeking therapy can feel scary, but I’m about as frightening as a nerdy baby duck. Whatever you’ve been dealing with, we’ve got it. Together, we’ll work me out of a job. You are strong enough, you are smart enough, and my favorite moment is when my clients say, “Yeah, I think I’m good now.”

Hi there! I'm Ross (he/him), and I'm so happy you are making the steps to focus on your mental health. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a safe, affirming space where you can be your authentic self without judgement. Because of this I focus primarily on using affirmative therapy as my main modality. I specialize in working with young adults and adults, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community, who may be navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, or life transitions. I also have experience with assisting those experiencing burnout whether from caregiving, work, or from other aspects of life! My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, which means I'll meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and support you in building the confidence and tools you need to thrive. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, identity development, relationships, or navigating life in general I'd be happy to support you and walk with you through that journey. I know it can be overwhelming to start therapy, but you don't have to go through this alone and I'd be honored to support you through those challenging times. I'm a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field. My goal is to empower individuals to embrace their authentic selves and find comfort in their daily lives. I insist on personalizing my interventions to suit each individual's needs. I work mostly with young adults and adults (ages 18+). I believe that most of us would benefit from therapy at most points throughout our lives. We are social beings by nature and are simply not meant to struggle alone. We are our own worst critics so it takes an outside perspective of a loved one or a professional to help us recognize the strength amid chaos.

Greetings! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and have worked with offenders, anger management clients, couples, teens and adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety and depression. Through a strengths based approach, my clients learn more about themselves thus improving self-confidence, communication, mood and overall outlook on life. I love serving my teen and couples clients via the Gallup strengths test. This test helps individuals understand where their energy is highest and what they value most. It's not about "strengths", but values. I believe one of the best things we can do for ourselves is take the time to truly understand ourselves as this helps us learn to communicate effectively, be productive, overcome procrastination and more. This is one tool of many I enjoy using to help my clients.

I’m M. Brandon Blue, MA, LPCC, NCC, and I work with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about who they are becoming. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and honest. I help people slow down enough to understand the stories, beliefs, emotions, and relationship patterns that are shaping their lives. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relational conflict, spiritual concerns, identity questions, or major life transitions. I do not believe therapy is only about reducing symptoms, although that matters. I also believe therapy is about helping people live with more clarity, agency, emotional honesty, and alignment. In our work together, we may explore what you have been carrying, what you have been avoiding, what matters most to you, and what kind of life you want to move toward. I bring a balance of compassion and directness, creating space for you to feel understood while also helping you notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Hi, I'm Drew. Over the past 30 years, I've had the privilege of working as a clinician in a wide range of settings, including inpatient mental health, inpatient substance abuse treatment, outpatient settings, adolescent treatment, adult care, older adult care, and even within the criminal justice system. Each of these experiences has shaped my approach to therapy, allowing me to connect with clients from all walks of life and understand their unique challenges and strengths. Personally, I'm a proud Navy veteran and an Ohio State University alumnus (Go Bucks!). I've been married for over 30 years and am a father of one. These personal experiences have deeply influenced my perspective and commitment to helping others navigate their own life journeys. If you're struggling with issues related to addiction, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, depression, developmental disabilities, grief/bereavement, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, phobias, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, learning disorders, spirituality, stress, trauma, or traumatic brain injury, I'm here to help. I offer Video Telehealth for virtual sessions. My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we can work towards finding solutions and strategies that empower you to lead a more fulfilling and balanced life. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to support you on your journey.

If you’re a veteran, a man struggling in a difficult relationship, or an adult who is tired of feeling stuck, you’re not looking for someone to simply listen and nod. You want things to change. I work especially well with people dealing with anxiety, anger, trauma, depression, relationship problems, low confidence, overthinking, addiction, or major life stress. My approach is practical and straightforward: we look at the thoughts, beliefs, habits, and circumstances keeping you stuck and start challenging them. I also work with men who feel overwhelmed, unheard, criticized, or uncertain of themselves in important relationships. Maybe you feel like you’re walking on eggshells, questioning yourself, feeling guilty for setting boundaries, or wondering whether you’re the problem. Counseling can help you rebuild confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and make decisions based on your own values rather than fear, guilt, or pressure. I’ve worked with thousands of clients and learned that people often have more strength than they realize. Sometimes you’ve believed lies about yourself for so long that they became part of who you see yourself to be. I’m Christian-friendly, but I meet everyone where they are. I listen closely, ask questions that make you think, challenge perspectives that may be keeping you stuck, and help you find solutions that work in real life. I don’t believe my job is to tell you how to live your life. I want our conversations to help you see your situation more clearly and decide what makes sense for you. I’m also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. I’ll gladly work with Michigan fans, too…but I can't promise neutrality! :) For more about me, visit scarletude.com Bring your sense of humor into sessions. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff. We can be real humans in the room together.

Hi, I’m Marie — a therapist who believes that change is always possible, no matter where you are in life. My goal is to help you feel better emotionally, think more clearly, and move toward a future that feels fulfilling and peaceful. In our sessions, we’ll work together to understand what’s been holding you back and find practical ways to move forward. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice how your thoughts affect your emotions and actions—and teach you tools to shift negative thinking. I also use a solution-focused approach, which means we’ll focus on your strengths, celebrate what’s working, and create small, realistic steps that bring real progress. I often work with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or major life changes—like adjusting after a loss, a new diagnosis, or changes that come with getting older. My approach is supportive and empowering. I want you to feel heard, encouraged, and equipped with the tools to handle life’s challenges with more confidence and hope. As an immigrant and a bilingual therapist speaking both English and French, I understand the importance of culture, identity, and belonging. This lived experience allows me to better connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and support them through challenges related to identity, adjustment, and navigating different cultural expectations. My background helps me approach therapy with openness, cultural sensitivity, and a deep belief in the resilience of the human spirit.

My name is Michael Starr, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I believe therapy is more than just problem-solving, it’s a place to rediscover who you are, heal what’s been hidden, and move forward with clarity and strength. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity questions, and emotional overwhelm. My style is honest, grounded, and deeply respectful of the human experience. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT, but I also hold space for what cannot always be explained, your story, your meaning, your growth. Clients often come to me feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we uncover the patterns keeping you there and build the insight, skills, and resilience to move through them. You won’t be rushed or judged. The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
