LMFT, 13 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have 13+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families with various challenges. My top 2 specialties focus on couples counseling and coping with chronic illness. My approach is to work with my clients in a collaborative relationship to build on the strengths that naturally exist. Within these strengths, we will learn additional skills of communication, coping, and unity to build your relationships. My main focus and specialties are working with adults with relationship issues either in couples counseling or individually along with adults experiencing adjustment issues related to chronic illness, work/life stress, or other life adjustments.
In our first session, we will format our treatment goals to make a clear road map of what we are trying to accomplish with our time together. From there we will review various examples or circumstances relevant to those goals and start with real-time and life application of skills to achieve goals.
I continually receive positive feedback with my direct but caring approach in treatment that is both relatable and challenging in a constructive way for clients.
I am passionate about my practice and helping others. With this I enjoy working with clients that are willing to do the work to improve their own lives and reach their goals with a willingness to be challenged to get what they want in their lives and treatment.
Each session will include practical applied skills to address your needs and will include homework to work on in between sessions to reach your goals.
As a specialized couples/marriage counselor, we will work on improving communication, intimacy, trust, and connection within your relationship.
With an eclectic therapeutic approach, I work with clients in a collaborative way to help address their individual goals with positive feedback, support, and challenges.
