New to Grow
Hi, I am a psychotherapist who believes that meaningful change begins in environments where people feel genuinely seen and respected. My work focuses on the connection between emotional experience, the nervous system, and the body. Together we explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and support your system in finding greater balance, resilience, and clarity in your daily life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to talk about what has been happening in your life and what you would like support with. I may ask questions to better understand your experiences, including how stress or emotions may be affecting your body and nervous system. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and there is no expectation to go deeper than you feel ready. The goal of the first meeting is simply to begin understanding your situation and to see whether working together feels like a good fit.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach focuses on helping clients understand how emotional patterns are shaped by the nervous system and the body. Through a respectful and collaborative process, we work with these patterns in real time so the system can regain balance and flexibility. Many clients find that this deeper awareness allows meaningful change to unfold naturally over time. If this approach resonates with you, I welcome you to reach out.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work well with individuals who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that don’t seem to shift through thinking alone. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware but notice that stress, emotional reactions, or relationship patterns continue to arise despite their efforts to understand them. Our work focuses on helping the nervous system settle and develop greater awareness of the mind–body patterns that shape how you respond to life.
Mind-body approach
My work focuses on the connection between the nervous system, emotions, and the body. Many of the patterns that keep people stuck are not simply thoughts, but physiological survival responses. Together we gently work with the body’s signals so that new regulation, clarity, and choice can emerge.
Somatic
Somatic therapy works with the body’s role in emotional healing. Stress and trauma often live not only in our thoughts but also in the nervous system and physical sensations. In sessions, we may gently notice body awareness, breathing, and present-moment experience to help the nervous system settle and restore a sense of safety and balance.
Relational
Many people have spent years adapting to environments where their needs or feelings were overlooked; therapy offers a space where your experience can be met with attention, respect, and care.
