I am a licensed therapist with eight years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in working with anxiety and understand how overwhelming it can feel when worry, fear, or constant stress begins to interfere with daily life. Whether you are navigating school pressures, career demands, parenting challenges, relationship stress, or major life transitions, I provide a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify triggers that contribute to anxiety, and develop practical, effective tools to help you feel more grounded and in control. I incorporate evidence-based strategies to build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and increase resilience. I value creating a therapeutic environment that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, gain confidence in managing challenges, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are seeking short-term strategies to manage anxiety or deeper work to address long-standing concerns, I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting your growth at a pace that feels right for you. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I honor the courage it takes to begin. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward greater clarity, balance, and well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation for our work. I understand that starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions, from relief and hope to nervousness or uncertainty. My priority is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and heard from the very beginning. During our first meeting, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions to better understand your current concerns, history, strengths, and any patterns that may be contributing to anxiety or other challenges. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions about my approach, experience, and what therapy might look like moving forward. We’ll begin identifying goals and discussing what feels most important to focus on. If helpful, I may introduce a few initial coping strategies or tools you can start using right away. However, there is no pressure to share everything at once. Therapy is a process, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I understand that vulnerability can be difficult, especially when navigating anxiety or long-standing challenges. I prioritize building trust and helping clients feel heard, respected, and understood from the very beginning. With eight years of experience working across the lifespan, I bring flexibility and adaptability to my work. I am able to meet clients where they are developmentally and emotionally, tailoring my approach to fit each person’s unique needs. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I adjust my communication style and interventions to ensure therapy feels accessible and meaningful. I also specialize in anxiety, which allows me to quickly recognize patterns of worry, avoidance, perfectionism, and self-criticism. I help clients understand how anxiety functions and provide practical, evidence-based tools to manage symptoms effectively. My approach balances insight and action — exploring underlying patterns while also equipping clients with strategies they can apply in daily life. Clients often describe me as compassionate, grounded, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. I value transparency, consistency, and empowering clients to take an active role in their growth. I am attentive to strengths as much as struggles, helping clients build confidence and resilience over time. Above all, I am committed to ongoing professional growth and self-reflection to ensure I provide thoughtful, ethical, and effective care. My goal is to help each client feel capable, supported, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Anxiety has a way of quietly taking over. Your mind doesn't stop. You replay conversations, imagine worst-case scenarios, and feel on edge even when nothing is "wrong." For kids and teens, it might look like meltdowns, perfectionism, stomachaches or refusing things that once felt easy. For adults, it can feel like constant pressure, racing thoughts at night, people-pleasing, or holding it together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed inside. You're functioning. But you're exhausted. In our work together, we’ll slow the spiral and understand what your anxiety is trying to protect you from. I help clients notice the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and body so they can respond differently instead of getting pulled into the same loop. You’ll feel steadier in your body, clearer in your decisions, and more confident. You don’t have to have the right words or a perfect plan before reaching out. We’ll figure out where to start together. If this sounds like what you’re dealing with, you can schedule a consultation through the contact button here. I’d be glad to talk with you.
