My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have over 8 years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll explore your triggers and identify unhelpful thinking patterns that can keep anxiety and depression going—often showing up as harsh self-talk or convincing but inaccurate “stories” about yourself or your situation. In our work, I focus on helping you recognize and challenge these patterns in a way that feels practical and empowering. We’ll then create a plan using evidence-based strategies and tools tailored to your needs, so you can build skills to manage anxiety, improve mood, and respond to challenges with more confidence and clarity.

EMDR

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am currently working toward full certification. I often incorporate EMDR into my work with clients who feel stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences, trauma, or deeply rooted beliefs about themselves. My approach starts with helping you feel grounded and supported. We’ll build tools together—often called “resourcing”—to help you manage difficult emotions and feel more in control before moving into deeper work. From there, I’ll support you in identifying core beliefs and past experiences that may still be impacting how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Through EMDR, we can gently reprocess these experiences so they feel less overwhelming and no longer hold the same weight. Many clients find that this work helps them feel more confident, less reactive, and more aligned with how they want to show up in their lives. I see this as a collaborative process where we move at your pace, with a focus on safety, insight, and lasting change.
