Sometimes a thoughtful conversation with the right person can make all the difference. As an experienced therapist, husband, and father, I bring both professional training and real-life wisdom to help people navigate lifeâs challenges. Over many years of both life and clinical work, Iâve had the privilege of helping people move through difficult seasons, gain clarity, and reconnect with their strengths. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or youâre returning after time away, itâs normal to feel uncertain. Our first conversation is simply a starting point. I often work with people facing life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, seeking clarity and a practical path forward. Together, weâll slow things down, understand whatâs happening, and
Whether itâs your first time in therapy or youâre returning after a break, I know it can feel a little intimidating. In our first session, weâll start at your pace. Expect a warm, open conversation where I listen to whatâs on your mind. Weâll identify what matters to you and outline how I can support you, so youâll leave knowing we have a path forward together.
What sets me apart is the combination of deep life wisdom and genuine relatability. Iâve walked the hard roads myself, coming from emotionally and relationally difficult beginnings. Iâm not just offering textbook therapyâI offer the perspective of someone who truly understands how to grow through lifeâs challenges.
I work with a wide range of clients well due to my life and therapy experience. I especially like to work with resilient clients who experienced trauma and/or neglect n childhood. I am also good with couples seeking to salvage or deepen their relationship. I have 43 years of lived experience in monogamous marriage and am well suited to work with clients who are navigating various stages of long term exclusive relationships.
Other specialties
I identify as
Attachment-based
In an Attachment-Based approach, I focus on how early relational patterns influence current emotions and behaviors. I help clients build secure, healthy connections by understanding and reshaping attachment dynamics. This often leads to stronger, more fulfilling relationships and a greater sense of emotional security.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
In Mindfulness-Based therapy, I guide clients to develop present-moment awareness of thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. By cultivating non-judgmental attention, clients can better manage stress, reduce reactivity, and respond more calmly. This fosters a deeper sense of clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
Trauma Informed Care
In Trauma Informed Care, I insure that clients feel safe, empowered, and understood. I recognize the impact of past trauma on current experiences and use approaches that foster trust and emotional regulation. By understanding trauma responses, I help clients build resilience and regain control over their well-being.
Strength-Based
In Strength-Based work, I focus on identifying and amplifying clients inherent abilities and resources. I help them recognize their own strengths, using those as tools for growth and problem absolving. This fosters confidence, resilience, and a positive outlook on their journey.

Very good listener, with a warm, calm demeanor that makes me feel at ease sharing my story. I really like that he has personally experienced some of the major things I have experienced in life, such as being a husband and father. I feel he not only listens but also relates on an emotional level.
