My name is Alice Echeta, DNP, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Most of my career has been in mental health. I am compassionate. I have ten years of experience providing the utmost empathetic care to individuals with mental illnesses. I see myself as a mental health advocate and understand that an individual with a mental illness requires as much care and attention as someone diagnosed with diabetes or hypertension.
Clients can expect a collaborative and complete approach to understanding their mental health needs at the first encounter.
As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I have worked with individuals with mental health illnesses for the past ten years. I have learned to apply the ethical principles of justice and respect for others. People should be treated fairly and equally, and I acknowledge the right of all individuals to make decisions. Applying this is my greatest strength as a provider.
I love working with individuals across life spans who are struggling with various mental health issues through medication management and talk therapy to help them stay focused and maintain functionality.
I provide education about the nature of mental health conditions, treatment options, and potential approaches to patient care. This helps patients learn about their mental health and treatment possibilities and alternatives.
