New to Grow
My name is Brianna, I am an LPCC in southern California. I am a horse girl at heart, and appreciate connection with nature. I strive to create balance between work, relationships, family and personal hobbies in my own life as well as with clients. Existing in a space of gratitude and finding peace and inner contentment, while letting go of ideas of perfection and societal expectations is important to me.
My goals for a first therapy session are to communicate expectations and answer questions to help relieve anxiety about trying something new. I enjoy building a solid rapport with my clients to create a safe and comfortable relationship, and that starts on the first day.
My therapeutic approach often incorporates nature and movement. Don't be surprised if your "homework" incorporates things like going for a walk, moving your body in an enjoyable way, or partnering with your pets.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults who are in the midst of life transitions and feeling stressed about them. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, overthinking, low motivation, or self-doubt, therapy can help you gain a sense of control. Together, we can create a space for exploration of your thoughts and emotions with judgement, gain clarity about your values and goals, and learn to utilize personal tools to move forward with confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in practice to help clients identify patterns in their thinking and behaviors. Identification of the patterns can help clients reduce emotional distress and create new thoughts, while creating balance in the mind.
Strength-Based
I apply Strength Based therapy to identify the client's existing skills, positive qualities and resources. I enjoy creating a collaborative experience for clients to use their own personal strength to improve resilience and achieve goals.
