Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents navigating anxiety, stress, and challenges related to school, family, and everyday life. I have experience supporting teens through difficult emotions, life transitions, and the pressures that often come with adolescence. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood. I take a practical, strengths-based approach to help teens build coping skills, manage stress, improve emotional awareness, and feel more confident in their daily lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel comfortable. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s been going on, the challenges you’re facing, and what you’d like to work on in therapy. We’ll talk about your goals and begin identifying ways to support you — whether that’s managing anxiety, improving mood, building coping skills, or navigating life stressors. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with; there’s no pressure. If you’re unsure what to say, that’s completely okay — I’ll help guide the conversation. My goal is for the first session to feel supportive, collaborative, and helpful so you leave with a clearer understanding of how we can work together moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build strong, genuine connections with adolescents. I create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and comfortable expressing themselves without judgment. I use a practical, evidence-based approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based interventions, and supportive therapy, to help clients manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and cope with everyday stressors. I focus on providing tools clients can realistically apply in their daily lives — not just during sessions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, stress, and challenges related to school, family, peer relationships, or life transitions. Many of the teens I support may feel overwhelmed, struggle with emotional regulation, experience low motivation, or have difficulty balancing academic and personal pressures. I also work well with teens who are looking to build coping skills, improve self-esteem, better understand their thoughts and behaviors, and feel more confident managing daily stressors. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and working toward meaningful change at their own pace. With my background in school-based mental health settings, I have a strong understanding of the academic, social, and family pressures adolescents face. This allows me to provide support that feels both relevant and practical while helping clients develop skills they can apply in their everyday lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. I work with adolescents to identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier, more balanced ways of thinking while building practical coping skills to manage anxiety, stress, and emotional challenges. My goal is to help clients apply these skills in their daily lives so they feel more confident, capable, and in control.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use solution-focused techniques to help clients identify goals and work toward realistic, achievable changes. I guide adolescents in focusing on strengths, progress, and solutions rather than only problems, helping them build on small successes and existing strengths while developing strategies that support progress in their everyday lives. This approach helps clients feel motivated and recognize that meaningful change is possible.

Strength-Based

My approach is rooted in a strength-based perspective, meaning I focus on helping clients recognize and build on the strengths they already have instead of focusing solely on problems or symptoms. I believe it is important for clients to feel heard, capable, and empowered throughout the healing process. I work collaboratively with clients to identify personal strengths, supportive relationships, coping skills, and past successes that can help them navigate life’s current challenges. I believe every person has resilience and the ability to grow, even during difficult times. My role is to help clients build confidence, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools that support long-term emotional well-being.

Supportive

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable openly sharing their thoughts and emotions. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship so adolescents feel heard, supported, validated, and understood. I offer guidance and emotional support while helping clients process challenges related to stress, anxiety, school, and family dynamics, while also strengthening coping skills, emotional awareness, and self-confidence.
