If you want a different kind of experience with someone who is open-minded, accepting, warm, curious, and insightful, I can help. We all have a story that's influenced by everything that has happened in our lives, and we are each in charge of the way that story unfolds. I love to use stories, myths, and visual analogies in my work. Let's work on yours together! I have served clients for 17 years and have significant experience with groups, families, adults, adolescents, and children. I am a licensed professional counselor and a national certified counselor. My philosophy of counseling is inspired by the work of Carl Jung who incorporated concepts of archetypes into his theories and I am interested in discovering how we can apply these ideas to our daily lives using a depth psychology perspective. We are all here for a reason and can change the world from within. I'd be honored to help you on your journey.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Tucker, Georgia. I received my bachelor’s from Emory and my master’s from Mercer. I’ve been working as a therapist for six years, supporting clients of all ages. Lately, I’ve focused on working with adults—especially young adults—as they navigate their journey through life’s complexities. I work with people facing many of life’s challenges—such as ADHD, anxiety, major life transitions, and relationship struggles—offering a relaxed, collaborative, and person-centered approach. My goal is to create a space where trust and comfort come first, where you can show up fully and without pressure to have it all figured out. I’m Dr. Lolade Bakrin, a Licensed Professional Counselor and counselor educator who is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. My therapeutic approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices. I work with teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, and everyday stress. I believe therapy should be collaborative and practical. Together, we’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences, and develop strategies you can use beyond the therapy room. I also recognize that everyone’s experiences are shaped by their unique identities, relationships, environments, and life experiences, so I tailor treatment to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and challenged in ways that encourage greater self-awareness, confidence, and lasting growth.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, teens, and families. I have worked with clients on a wide range of issues. I started my career working in child welfare where I worked alongside parents to help them become the best versions of themselves as individuals and as parents. I am experienced in working with parents and teens and helping each person improve those familial relationships. For over a decade, I had the honor of working in medical settings with individuals coping with and adjusting to a new chronic and/or terminal disease diagnosis and with their families as they grapple with their new normal. I have facilitated grief support groups for those who have lost a loved one or experienced a different type of loss. Processing grief is very important and looks different for each individual. I enjoy partnering with clients in finding their way back to joy and purpose after a loss. It is a huge step to seek out therapy. I look forward to meeting you and helping you become the healthiest version of yourself.

We are disconnected - from each other, from the world, and from ourselves. Humans suffer profoundly when they can’t connect. Using Existential Therapy as a framework, I help clients navigate challenges regarding isolation, purpose, choice, and death in order to reconnect in healthy ways. A therapist acts as a mirror, not giving advice but helping you see yourself clearly and encouraging the self-respect that fuels healthy relationships. Provided the fit is good, trust is established, and you are motivated for change, therapy can be an excellent starting point for building the life you desire. I practice primarily with individual adults but also groups. I also work with high-functioning teens who are motivated for change. Virtual sessions upon request, in-person strongly recommended.

Hi, I’m Ben Addison, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 13 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia and have provided care across outpatient behavioral health, private practice, hospitals, emergency departments, and trauma-focused settings. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief, relationship difficulties, substance use concerns, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, including young people who have experienced complex trauma, abuse, behavioral challenges, and involvement with the legal or child welfare systems. I also have experience supporting survivors of sexual trauma and individuals navigating difficult or high-stress life experiences. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you—or your child—can feel safe, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each client to understand what they are experiencing, recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful changes that carry into everyday life. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or looking for support for your child or teenager, we will work together to identify what matters most and develop a path forward that feels realistic and achievable.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, chronic stress, and long-standing survival patterns. Many of the people I work with grew up navigating environments where safety, emotional support, or stability were inconsistent, and those experiences can continue to affect relationships, self-worth, and the nervous system well into adulthood. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical. I integrate trauma-informed methods such as EMDR, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation to help clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with a stronger sense of self. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together we work at a pace that feels safe while building the insight, resilience, and self-trust needed for lasting change. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a powerful place to begin.

The woman who has it all together on the outside is often the one carrying the most on the inside. If you're high-achieving, dependable, and exhausted — not from laziness but from carrying too much for too long — this is the space you've been looking for. I'm Whitley Frazier, LCSW, and I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for women and teens navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. My work is direct, warm, and grounded in approaches that actually produce change. EMDR is at the core of what I do. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR works at a neurological level — helping your brain reprocess stored trauma so it no longer controls how you feel, react, and relate. The result isn't just feeling better temporarily. It's actually being different on the other side. You don't have to keep white-knuckling through life. Healing is possible — and you're worth it.

Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma are common issues that can impact your day to day lives and close relationships no matter your background. By the end of therapy, you will be more confident in speaking up for yourself and creating healthy boundaries. I utilize a strength-based approach that combines different therapeutic modalities that address generational trauma, negative self-talk, and strategies to improve your mood. I tend to tailor treatment to each individual to fit who they are and their needs.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience supporting women through the complexities of life, relationships, and personal growth. In my practice, I work with professional women navigating anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the unique pressures that often come with being a woman who is expected to have it all together. My work is rooted in helping women break free from the expectations of others—and the curated expectations created by social media—and reconnect with what feels authentic to them. My approach is direct, supportive, and intentional. Together, we explore the patterns, beliefs, and expectations that may be keeping you stuck and what it could look like to move through life with greater confidence, clarity, and intention. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes, you simply want to understand yourself better, make different choices, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are becoming.

Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as yourself, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. Life can be complicated, overwhelming, and sometimes downright frustrating. You don't have to navigate those challenges alone. I work with individuals experiencing addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. Whether you're struggling with difficult emotions, feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, or adjusting to unexpected changes, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and discover healthier ways to move forward. My therapeutic style is warm, straightforward, and collaborative, with a little humor when appropriate. I believe meaningful growth comes from honest conversations, self-reflection, and sometimes being willing to see things from a different perspective. I'll listen, support you, and validate your experiences, but I'll also challenge you when needed. Sometimes growth requires stepping outside your comfort zone, and I'll be there to support you through that process. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and supportive therapy into my work. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll identify your goals, recognize your strengths, explore patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical strategies you can use in everyday life. Therapy isn't about being perfect or having all the answers. It's about understanding yourself, making intentional choices, and learning how to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, laughing when appropriate, and celebrating your progress. You don't have to know exactly where you're going to take the first step. We'll figure out the direction together.

I truly saw the need for more mental health professionals in my community when I lost my father in 2006. Since that day, I began my journey of understanding the mind and how it works. We go through many major life transitions such as breakups, divorce, having children, new professions, loss of income, moving, pandemic stress and more. Most do not realize just how traumatic these seemingly “normal” events are to us at times. I am here to help you if you feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, angry or confused concerning anything that has been thrown at you in your life. If you feel that what you are dealing with is too much to handle on your own, please reach out to me. We cannot stop this cycle of numbing or ignoring mental health issues in our world if we do not start within. As a mental health advocate, I am here for you. I have seen the impact of a lack of relatable and accessible mental health programs and providers. I am here to be the bridge and get you the solutions, support, and guidance you need.

As a therapist, I don’t offer a one-size-fits-all approach. I sit at a rare and powerful intersection of neuroscience, practical behavioral strategy, and deep, soul-level healing. Here is who I am as a clinician: 1. I Bridge Logic and Depth I possess the unique ability to bridge the gap between the logical, analytical mind and the emotional, intuitive self. I am practical, structured, and evidence-based. I help you map out your mental loops and provide immediate, actionable tools for your daily life. I don't view you as "broken" or needing to be fixed; instead, I see you as a system of protective parts that deserve to be understood, healed, and unburdened. 2. I Provide Specialized, Biological Relief for sleep problems My specialization in CBT-I means I deeply understand how the mind and body are connected. I don't just talk about stress abstractly. I actively solve the physiological crises, like chronic insomnia, that stress creates. This allows me to deliver tangible, measurable relief to your biological baseline so you actually have the physical energy to do the deeper emotional work. 3. I am Efficient, Collaborative, and Transformative I am not interested in passive, aimless "venting sessions" that drag on for years without progress. My approach is active and modern. I act as a grounded guide to help you catch and rewire your immediate habits while simultaneously healing the deep-seated root vulnerabilities that drove those habits in the first place. My Clinical Vibe I provide a space where science meets profound self-discovery. To my clients, I am a warm, deeply empathetic anchor who can hold space for your most vulnerable inner world, while remaining sharp and structured enough to keep you moving forward toward a true internal reset.

My transition into therapy was deeply personal—having experienced the power of therapy myself during a period of grief, I developed a profound respect for the healing process. That experience continues to fuel my passion for helping clients navigate life’s challenges and achieve their personal goals. I don’t take it lightly that you’re here—seeking support is a courageous step. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. I specialize in holding space for the deep-thinkers and cycle-breakers, the individuals who have spent a lifetime looking inward and dismantling generational patterns, yet still feel the friction of a world demanding 'more' at the expense of 'being.' My approach combines a lifelong passion for psychology and therapeutic processes with a multicultural, spiritually grounded worldview. As a mother, a doctoral candidate, and a business owner, I don't just teach boundaries; I live them. I am a 'Keturah-sized' bridge in the wellness gap for those who have cycled through therapists searching for a peer who truly sees them. Together, we intentionally move past the '15 tasks by yesterday' mentality and into a strategic, soul-deep architecture of rest, healing, and expansion.

My name is Amanda Chilleme, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, as well as a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional. For over 11 years, I have supported individuals in identifying what truly matters to them, navigating obstacles, and building a foundation for a more fulfilling future. My primary specialty is working with men and women struggling with substance use disorders as well as process and behavioral addictions, helping them find a pathway to a life that feels less burdened and more aligned. I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, grief and bereavement, trauma, attachment concerns, and personality disorders. As a clinician, I take a human-focused approach. I am not here to tell you what you need to work on—you already know the what. My role is to help you understand the why, and ultimately the how: how to shift it, heal it, overcome it, or, when appropriate, let it go altogether. Your first session is best described as a two-way interview. As I listen to your story and your narrative begins to take shape, we collaboratively determine two things: Whether I am the right therapist for you, and Whether this therapeutic relationship is the right fit for both of us. If we decide to move forward together, identifying your goals becomes your first assignment. This process allows me to better understand how you think, how you interpret challenges, and how barriers such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship dynamics show up for you. From there, we focus on one goal at a time. I see myself as your coach, teammate, and cheerleader! Whether you are just beginning therapy or have been on this journey for some time, I invite you to plant that seed—and see just how beautifully you grow.

Hi there! I'm a therapist who specializes in helping people overcome people-pleasing tendencies and trauma. You might be tired of constantly putting the needs of others before your own, feeling like you're never enough, or struggling to set healthy boundaries. It can be overwhelming to navigate these challenges on your own, but together, we can work towards building your self-esteem, creating space for your own needs, and developing new ways of communicating with others. If you've experienced trauma, it can be difficult to trust others and feel safe in your everyday life. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, or other symptoms that make it hard to move forward. I want you to know that healing is possible, and you don't have to go through this alone. Using evidence-based therapies like Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I can help you process your experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and move towards a more fulfilling life.

"One step, one step." So, this is a phrase I often say. I use it as a reminder that we will move forward, heal, achieve our goals one step, one moment at a time. If we feel or see ourselves slip back....we reset. We move forward again one step, one step. Wellness has always been a focus in my life's work. My expertise has allowed me to work with individuals from the African Diaspora, immigrant communities, various cultures, military and those diagnosed with chronic illness. I use a holistic approach, integrating modalities such as a Client-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused and Mindfulness to achieve your goals and build an empowered, stronger and healthier sense of self. I believe that collaborating with you as an individual, learning your strengths, challenges, and identifying key coping skills together we move towards your best strategies for wellness. If you are feeling worried, depressed, scared, anxious, overwhelmed by circumstances in your daily life or new to therapy we can work together to find that balance you need.

I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of trauma. I have experience working with adults who are survivors of complex trauma and suffer from depression, anxiety, and addiction. My approach is strength-based and client-centered with modalities from Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe most people stagnate in change because they are afraid and don’t know what to do. Many clients have told me they “feel like they are going crazy.” I am here to tell you that you are not crazy. Your mind and body are reacting to a traumatic event, and many things you do to cope with that event are to help you deal with the trauma, “normal responses to an abnormal situation.” My approach is simple: break down the problem into parts and gradually work on “unpeeling the layers.” This process is not easy and is often painful. However, it will be worth it because you will experience a freedom you never knew was possible. I want you to learn to thrive and live a full life instead of just surviving daily. I graduated from Berry College with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2003 and Kennesaw State University with my Master’s in Social Work in 2014. I have 22 years of mental health experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.

I'm someone who experienced many adverse childhood experiences and academic challenges to be where I am in life requires determination, faith and relentless hope. So I would be doing a injustice myself and others to not be being a bridge builder. I believe in offering a space where you can simply be yourself — no performing, no shrinking, no pretending you’re okay when you’re not. The work we do together is collaborative and deeply human. It’s a space where your emotions are met with respect, your questions are taken seriously, and your growth unfolds at a pace that feels steady and safe. I support people who are navigating anxiety, depression, major life changes, relationship stress, women’s issues, and those heavy seasons where everything feels confusing or stuck. Together, we move toward clarity, emotional balance, and a more grounded connection to the version of you that’s been hard to access under the weight of it all. My approach is shaped by the years I spent navigating different backgrounds and environment of living situations. Those experiences broadened my understanding of identity, culture, and the many ways people learn to cope, survive, and make meaning. My experiences have taught me to honor the values and perspectives each person brings, and to approach every story with genuine curiosity and respect and to listen to understand and seek clarity. That awareness is woven into my work — steady, culturally attuned, and deeply aware of the complexity of individual's challenges.

I am a seasoned Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through complex emotional and mental health challenges. Holding a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work, I bring a deep commitment to evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and client-centered support. My path to becoming a mental health provider has been deeply rooted in a commitment to supporting children, families, and communities. After earning my Master’s in Social Work, I worked as a school-based therapist, where I witnessed the transformative power of accessible, empathetic care within educational settings. Currently, after I pursued my Doctorate in Social Work, my focus has expanded to helping individuals of all ages reach their full potential and experience greater happiness and fulfillment in life. I bring a strengths-based, client-centered approach to every session, grounded in evidence-based practice and a genuine belief in the capacity for growth and healing. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Georgia from Athens to Savannah! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Georgia.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
