In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a getting to know you session where I will gather some background information and general history. We will talk about what kind of support you would like to receive from your therapist. We will also set some goals that will drive follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Years ago, a colleague told me that I am really good at helping people work through their emotions. When I reflect back to that moment, I see that she was right. I support people on their journey. It is so easy for any of us to get lost and have difficulty figuring out our next steps. Navigating thoughts, belief systems, and emotions so that you feel more empowered and have greater clarity in your life is what I do best. With a gentle approach, I accept and support you right where you are so you can move forward in the direction you truly want.

I know that this was just an assessment session but I felt heard, understood, and seen. There was a trick to help me calm myself that she taught me that helped faster and my emotions didn’t run completely away from me.
