New to Grow
Greetings! I’m Mikell Rozier, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. My mission is to help you create “A Good Life” — a life of balance, healing, and fulfillment. I work with clients on a variety of challenges, including burnout, trauma, anger, grief, substance use, and relationship or career struggles. My approach is solution-focused and holistic, blending professional expertise with the insight of my own life experiences. I’ve navigated life’s ups and downs, and I’ve achieved my own version of "a good life," happily married with two healthy children. Now, my goal is to help you build your version of a good life. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, strengthen your resilience, and create meaningful change that lasts.
When you start therapy with me, the process begins with a simple but powerful step: conversation. Our first few sessions are about understanding your story, your challenges, and your goals. Together, we’ll identify what’s standing between you and the life you want, then develop a plan to address it. Therapy is not about perfection; it’s about progress. You may begin noticing subtle shifts early on: better communication, less emotional heaviness, more clarity in your decisions. Over time, those shifts become lasting change. My clients often describe feeling lighter, more grounded, and more capable of handling whatever comes their way.
I help clients navigate life transitions, burnout, relationship challenges, and the lingering impact of trauma. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and build emotional balance. I specialize in helping high-achieving professionals, creatives, and caregivers manage stress, set boundaries, and find peace in daily life, especially those seeking culturally affirming support and a therapist who truly understands their lived experiences. My approach is collaborative, holistic, and down-to-earth. We’ll work together to break unhelpful cycles, strengthen resilience, and rediscover what joy and fulfillment look like for you.
My ideal client is someone who’s ready to pause, reflect, and do the inner work needed to live with more balance and purpose. Many of the people I work with identify as BIPOC and are navigating the pressures of success, family expectations, and societal stressors, yet I welcome clients from all backgrounds. You might be feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. In our work together, we’ll focus on rebuilding confidence, healing from past wounds, and creating space for growth and self-compassion so you can show up fully as yourself, wherever you are in your journey.
As a Licensed Therapist, my approach is holistic, compassionate, and solution-focused. I use evidence-based practices and motivational interviewing tailored to your unique needs. My background and lived experience help me connect deeply with men and women who carry the pressure to stay strong, even when struggling inside
