Hi! I'm a licensed therapist in Georgia. I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was in the 3rd grade. I would wait at the swing set for my friends to come talk to me about their problems. As someone who was born into poverty and struggled with traumas of my own, I know how difficult life can be at times. Being there for others was something that took my mind off of the stressors of home. After becoming a teen mom, I knew I had to change my life for the better to support my family. I went to college to both heal myself and learn how to help and heal others. I am passionate about helping others meet their goals, feel happy, and have loving supportive relationships in their lives. I believe in practicing what I preach, so you know that if I'm asking you to try something then I've tried it myself and know it works. I believe that we all have the answers inside of us, I just help you find them.

Welcome! I'm Tierra. Look, I know starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time but here you are and I'm rooting for you! I am a dedicated licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and therapist committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based care. My work focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced domestic violence, self-esteem challenges, and grief. I strive to create a safe and affirming space where clients can process their experiences, heal from trauma, and rebuild their sense of self. Integrating various therapeutic approaches, I help clients navigate their emotions, develop coping strategies, and regain empowerment. My goal is to foster resilience, self-compassion, and meaningful transformation in their lives. Together, we will identify your challenges and goals - where you want your life to be a month, six months, a year from now. Then, we'll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You'll leave the session with a better understanding of what you're facing with an "actions I can take right now" approach. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, including keeping each other accountable. If you want a therapist who meets you where you are, listens without judgment, and works alongside you to create real, lasting change, I’d love to support you on your journey. Whether you're navigating the aftermath of trauma, rebuilding self-confidence, or processing loss, you don’t have to do it alone. Let's work together to help you heal, grow, and move forward.

If you are not living your best life it is time to make a commitment to yourself and dedicate the time and energy to increase the quality of your life. I understand how life can sometimes overwhelm us. Whether you’ve just experienced a loss, a major change in your life, or you’ve been living with this sense of struggle for years, I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which positive change can occur, and can help you find your way. Hi there, I'm Jessyca. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 5 years experience. I help and specialize in working with children, teens, young adults, and families with communication, anxiety, depression, behavior management, and more! As much as I love to talk to individuals about how they are feeling, I am motivated and passionate about being interactive with clients when processing their thoughts and feelings. I also have a fun option for teens. Mindful Culinary Therapy is dedicated to making the healing power of cooking safe and accessible. At MCT, I love empowering youth to discover and harness their own creativity through food. For many of us, it is hard to open up to strangers and express serious traumatic or even simple issues that we face daily, but what happens when we keep our minds busy, our hearts open., and stomachs full? Being able to express your thoughts and emotions in a more relaxed, creative, fun, and inspiring environment, gives a person more freedom to be able to become more vulnerable, comfortable, and at peace within themselves. Frequently asked questions

Why filter by Georgia rather than a city like Atlanta?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Georgia from Athens to Savannah! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Georgia.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

What are the "Clients say I'm" badges?

Grow Therapy asks patients about their experience with therapists after they have had a certain number of sessions. After enough responses, we add those characteristics to their profiles to help you find the best online therapists for you. We're still working on collecting this information from all our therapists.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What to expect during your first session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs.

Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
