In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I am very directive with my clients; I assign homework such as childhood trauma and Baggage from childhood and previous relationships, communication, problem-solving, activities, books, movies, etc. With marriage and pre-marriage couples I recommend the Gottman Relationship Assessment tool. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I do a comprehensive intake including childhood trauma, mental health issues, addictions, sexual, physical, and religious abuses, self-harm behaviors, mental health issues, physical/medical issues. I believe in generational/family "curse"/dysfunction, addictions, baggage from prior relationships or childhood, communication and problem-solving skills. Homework may include: The Five Love languages, Identifying 3-5 Needs of the relationship, attitude towards money. We will discuss THE FOUR HORSEMEN that will definitely destroy your relationship; closing the exit doors, Your Marriage Table; Accountability; Some of my Homework: I need you to identify your Non-negotiables for your relationship. Topics of discussion include: "To Love, Honor and Cherish;" "Till Death Do Us Part"; "In sickness and In Health"; Infidelity, Addiction, Pornography, Financial infidelity: Domestic violence and Emotional Abuse; other areas of concern include: Your Sexual Health, Communication skills, Parenting Styles, Your Parents as Role Model; Roles in Your Relationship, Equity in your Relationship; Sexual Abuse, Family Secrets, Trauma, Career-Work-Life Balance; Education, Grief, Your "representative" During Courtship as opposed to the Real You once you move in together or say I Do; Menopause and Your Emotions and Relationship. You must do the work to have the quality relationship/marriage you want. It is not always your partner, you also bring baggage. How do you enable the behaviors in your marriage/relationship? if you tolerate abusive behavior from your partner, it means you have been an Enabler to his/her abuses. Listen, you can walk away, end it before it kills you or before she/he kills you; you do not have to repeat Your Parents Mistakes. BE A BETTER AND NOT A BITTER PERSON, forgive yourself for whatever mistakes you have made, move on and live your best life. If you are willing, I will help you in: 1. Identifying and Communicating Your Thoughts and Behaviors, Bou
