Happiness is a tough concept. We all want & desire to be happy, but do we need to be happy all the time? And what if we could be less sad? Or mad? Or ecstatic one day & miserable the next? Life is challenging, but we have to allow ourselves to find the hope and practice grace along the way. I am Dr. Jennifer Jenkins, LPC and I am a counselor, let me help you... find the hope on your terms and allow ourselves to practice grace and humor to get through this crazy place called life. Let me help you on your journey to be all the emotions and maybe a little less sad going forward.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will get to know each other, complete any needed paperwork together and then dive into goals that you have for therapy. We will co-create a therapy plan for future sessions and answer any questions, concerns or hesitations.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked in the school system as a School Counselor and as an Licesnsed Professional Counselor for quite some time. I love helping people of all ages find their happiness and to work on issues together. Issues can ranges from anxiety to depression, organization issues, time management, relationship concerns, and family issues.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients that need help to get happy, and want to see the world through a new lens and to be their best self. I don't mind what stage of life you are in if you are an adolescent, young adult, middle age or even seasoned adult. We all deserve happiness- and I want to help you find yours.
