I have two Masters degrees in clinical and general psychology and have been in the field for over 20 years. I can work with any client as my approach is a multisystemic approach. I can help clients with anxiety, mood disorders, adjustments concerns and past and current traumas. The goal is to help my clients learn how to cope with situations, give them tools to help cope with their concerns. I can help my clients with understanding and setting boundaries, learn to effectively communicate and understand why certain behaviors are related to past events. I have multiple years working with substance abuse and dual diagnosis.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session's focus is rapport building and identifying needs to work on in counseling. The main objective is to help create and strong therapeutic alliance from the beginning.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I use a multisystemic approach to help meet my clients needs. These include CBT, TFCBT, DBT, Boundaries, communication, coping with stress and anxiety and has many years experience with trauma and substance abuse. I would love to help my clients learn and process through what is causing distress and help live a more fulfilled life.

My ideal client is open to suggestions, willing to process through their concerns that led them to counseling. My ideal client would like a therapist with a multisystemic approach to therapy with strong focus on the therapeutic alliance. My ideal client works with their therapist to set therapy goals. I can work with mood disorders, personalities disorders, and anxiety disorders. I also have long term experience with addiction and can help with relapse prevention and long-term sobriety.

Psychoeducation is used to help explain how to work on tools to help in the therapeutic process.
Trauma-Focused CBT
TFCBT used coping skills to learn how to control the anxiety and depression symptoms related to trauma and focuses on trauma narratives to help elevate PTSD symptomology.
Strength-Based
Sessions are strengths based focused to help with self-worth and self-esteem.
