I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters degree in social work from Marywood University. I am very passionate about my career and have chosen this field to become someone that can support, encourage and aid others in their personal growth and journey. My general practice focuses on individual adults and adolescents. I am an active listener and seek to provide an unbiased perspective in a confidential and safe environment. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches in order to meet the unique needs of each client, including relational, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, person centered, and solution focused. I have 15+ years of experience treating individuals who experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, parental obstacles or lack of self-worth. I also have significant work experience with teens and young adults who experience various struggles that may be a result of bullying, failing grades, parental or peer stressors or poor self image. I combine my education, experiences and passion to provide my clients with a unique therapy journey. I will work closely with you to build on your strengths while paying attention to areas of your life that you may want to heal and GROW. I look forward to the opportunity to start this journey with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I like to focus on therapeutic rapport building and making sure we are a good fit to continue our work together. I also like to identify the initial treatment goals that each individual would like to target.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel I am very down to Earth which can make building a therapeutic relationship more natural and easy-going. I genuinely enjoy and appreciate someone willing to explore their vulnerabilities to identify new areas to achieve growth and personal development.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I find CBT helpful with targeting unhelpful and/or negative thought patterns that are harmful or unproductive for a client. The way we think influences how we feel and behave so I like to start at the root of any problems or concerns experienced and create healthier patterns of thought.
