LCSW, 15 years of experience
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters degree in social work from Marywood University. I am very passionate about my career and have chosen this field to become someone that can support, encourage and aid others in their personal growth and journey. My general practice focuses on individual adults and adolescents. I am an active listener and seek to provide an unbiased perspective in a confidential and safe environment. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches in order to meet the unique needs of each client, including relational, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, person centered, and solution focused. I have 15+ years of experience treating individuals who experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, parental obstacles or lack of self-worth. I also have significant work experience with teens and young adults who experience various struggles that may be a result of bullying, failing grades, parental or peer stressors or poor self image. I combine my education, experiences and passion to provide my clients with a unique therapy journey. I will work closely with you to build on your strengths while paying attention to areas of your life that you may want to heal and GROW. I look forward to the opportunity to start this journey with you.
I like to focus on therapeutic rapport building and making sure we are a good fit to continue our work together. I also like to identify the initial treatment goals that each individual would like to target.
I feel I am very down to Earth which can make building a therapeutic relationship more natural and easy-going. I genuinely enjoy and appreciate someone willing to explore their vulnerabilities to identify new areas to achieve growth and personal development.
I am interested in working with young adolescents and adults who experience anxiety, depression (not actively suicidal), LGBTQ+, women/men issues, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, academic/behavioral concerns, parenting struggles, etc.

Samantha has been my therapist for many years now, and from our first session I knew she was the right person for me. She is kind, listens to what you have to say, and gives her honest opinion. She has not once in the five years I've been a patient of hers made me feel lesser of myself. She has worked with me through several hard years and been there for the good ones too. Anyone looking for a great therapist should give Samantha a shot. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I could say many nice things about Samantha. My favorite is her ability to always make me feel better after our appointment. In the simplest terms, that is why we are all here anyway and that's why I look forward to every appointment.

Samantha was wonderful!!! Compassionate, active listener, and knowledgable
I find CBT helpful with targeting unhelpful and/or negative thought patterns that are harmful or unproductive for a client. The way we think influences how we feel and behave so I like to start at the root of any problems or concerns experienced and create healthier patterns of thought.
