Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving Georgia and South Carolina. With a degree from Savannah State University, I bring years of experience supporting individuals. I specialize in guiding clients through life transitions, balancing responsibilities, and addressing challenges like depression or anxiety. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for meaningful personal growth and healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In therapy, you can uncover the strength to break free from the weight of your past. Imagine gaining clarity, rebuilding trust, and learning to embrace self-compassion. Over time, you feel lighter, more connected, and capable of creating the fulfilling relationships and peace of mind you’ve longed for. Healing is within reach, one step at a time.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I offer evening and weekend availability, both virtual and in-person, to make it easier for you to prioritize your mental health without disrupting your busy schedule. With years of experience working with women, especially mothers, I understand the challenges of balancing self-care and caregiving. Let’s work together to help you heal and thrive, scheduled with me today.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Are you feeling stuck and weighed down by past experience? Do you often find yourself questioning your worth, replaying painful memories, or struggling to trust others? You might feel like you’re trying to move forward but can’t escape the hold of your past. It’s exhausting, feeling like you’re navigating this on your own, longing for peace and connection but unsure where to start. If this resonates, I’m here to help you move toward healing and rediscover your strength.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practice, I use a structured approach to address clients' thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I start by identifying negative thought patterns and beliefs, exploring core beliefs and cognitive distortions. Then, I help clients challenge and reframe these negative thoughts using techniques like cognitive restructuring. Additionally, I incorporate behavioral interventions such as behavior monitoring and goal setting to facilitate positive changes. Overall, I emphasize collaboration, skill-building, and empowerment, equipping clients with tools for managing emotions and improving well-being independently.

Psychodynamic

In my practice of psychodynamic therapy, I focus on exploring clients' unconscious processes and past experiences to gain insight into their current behaviors, emotions, and relationships. Through dialogue and analysis, I help clients uncover underlying patterns and unresolved conflicts that may be contributing to their difficulties. By fostering self-awareness and understanding, psychodynamic therapy aims to promote long-term psychological growth and improved overall well-being.

Strength-Based

In strength-based therapy, I emphasize identifying and building on clients' existing strengths, resources, and capabilities. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their unique strengths, values, and positive qualities, aiming to enhance their self-esteem and resilience. Through a strengths-focused approach, clients are empowered to leverage their strengths to address challenges and achieve their goals.
