Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving Georgia and South Carolina. With a degree from Savannah State University, I bring years of experience supporting individuals. I specialize in guiding clients through life transitions, balancing responsibilities, and addressing challenges like depression or anxiety. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for meaningful personal growth and healing.
In therapy, you can uncover the strength to break free from the weight of your past. Imagine gaining clarity, rebuilding trust, and learning to embrace self-compassion. Over time, you feel lighter, more connected, and capable of creating the fulfilling relationships and peace of mind you’ve longed for. Healing is within reach, one step at a time.
I offer evening and weekend availability, both virtual and in-person, to make it easier for you to prioritize your mental health without disrupting your busy schedule. With years of experience working with women, especially mothers, I understand the challenges of balancing self-care and caregiving. Let’s work together to help you heal and thrive, scheduled with me today.
Are you feeling stuck and weighed down by past experience? Do you often find yourself questioning your worth, replaying painful memories, or struggling to trust others? You might feel like you’re trying to move forward but can’t escape the hold of your past. It’s exhausting, feeling like you’re navigating this on your own, longing for peace and connection but unsure where to start. If this resonates, I’m here to help you move toward healing and rediscover your strength.
In my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practice, I use a structured approach to address clients' thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I start by identifying negative thought patterns and beliefs, exploring core beliefs and cognitive distortions. Then, I help clients challenge and reframe these negative thoughts using techniques like cognitive restructuring. Additionally, I incorporate behavioral interventions such as behavior monitoring and goal setting to facilitate positive changes. Overall, I emphasize collaboration, skill-building, and empowerment, equipping clients with tools for managing emotions and improving well-being independently.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients who struggle with intense emotions, impulsive behaviors, and challenges in relationships. My experience with DBT includes supporting clients in building skills around mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I use EMDR therapy to help clients process and heal from past trauma, distressing experiences, and limiting beliefs that may still be impacting their daily lives. My training and experience in EMDR allow me to support clients in safely accessing and working through memories that may feel stuck or overwhelming.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help clients understand and heal the different “parts” of themselves that may carry pain, protect them from harm, or feel stuck in old patterns. IFS is a compassionate and empowering approach that allows us to explore your inner world without judgment.
