Welcome! I'm passionate about helping others find healing and wholeness. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, find healing from the past, and live a rich and meaningful life. I work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, and poor self-confidence. I also have specialized experience treating trauma and substance abuse, and as a Certified DBT Therapist, I have extensive experience in treating Borderline Personality Disorder or traits. I believe that one of the most underrated experiences is loss, including the end of significant relationships. I can help you navigate the grief, find meaning in the loss, and build hope moving forward. I believe that change best happens when we learn to accept where we are while simultaneously challenging ourselves to do better. I love watching cat and dog videos, reading, yoga and pilates, my dog Shelby, anything Harry Potter, and being a mom. Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My own past and personal experience puts me in a position to be a true empathic partner in healing. I get how hard, scary, and lonely life can seem. I have a real passion for seeing others experience the kind of healing I've found in my own life. I may not have been through what you have, but I can assure you I know what it's like to struggle.
