6 years of experience

Hello there! I’m a cisgender male (he/him) therapist with feminist values, ADHD, motor tics, and a house full of cats. Some might even say too many, but I absolutely disagree! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Tucker, Georgia. I received my bachelor’s from Emory and my master’s from Mercer. I’ve been working as a therapist for six years, supporting clients of all ages. Lately, I’ve focused on working with adults—especially young adults—as they navigate their journey through life’s complexities. I work with people facing many of life’s challenges—such as ADHD, anxiety, major life transitions, and relationship struggles—offering a relaxed, collaborative, and person-centered approach. My goal is to create a space where trust and comfort come first, where you can show up fully and without pressure to have it all figured out. You set the pace and direction; I’m here to walk alongside you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is about starting where you are, not where you think you “should” be. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what life looks like for you right now, and what you’re hoping to get from therapy—even if it’s not fully clear yet. I’ll ask some questions, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. You’ll have room to speak openly, take your time, and get a feel for how I work. My goal is to begin building a foundation of trust, so the rest of the journey can unfold in a way that feels natural and safe for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a warm, genuine, and down-to-earth presence to therapy. I’m fully present and honest about who I am, including my quirks and lived experiences, which helps create a space where clients can be themselves without judgment. I’m skilled at meeting people where they are, helping them feel comfortable and understood, even when things are messy or uncertain. I’m collaborative and flexible, holding space for whatever emotions or challenges come up, while focusing on practical steps forward. If you’re ready to explore your story with someone who’ll walk alongside you, I’m here whenever you’re ready to start.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who find themselves at a confusing or difficult point in their journey—or who simply want support. Maybe you’re navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, or just feeling stuck and unsure what comes next. Maybe you’ve been pushing through on your own for a long time and something inside says: enough. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. Wherever you are in your story, we’ll start there and move forward together.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Using a person-centered focus, at its root, means that I focus on us as two people in the room, and I meet you where you are. I'm not a clinician analyzing and fixing a patient before moving on to the next one. I prioritize your trust and comfort. This is you, your life, and you matter. So come in, be yourself, and we'll figure it out.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I bring CBT in as a lens of helping you reduce and improve specific behaviors and symptoms. Typically, this looks like providing exercises, skills, and tools for you to take with you. I regrettably sometimes call this the "Homework" of therapy, though I promise to make it sound better, and more beneficial, than any school-variety assignment.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Exploring the roots of a problem can be the most important part of therapy. Sometimes, we just want to focus on the future. This could be your whole reason for coming to therapy, or it's part of the journey. Regardless, this is seeing what life looks like without a certain problem or challenge, and figuring out how to make that change - whether the problem has been explored and understood or not. This often looks like goal-setting, finding motivation, and creating that change. You want to solve a Rubik's cube, but you don't really need to know or care about understanding the algorithms behind it. You want it to be solved, and maybe without removing all the stickers.
