New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma-informed therapy for adults. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting impact of childhood, relational, or significant life experiences. I incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to provide a focused and effective way to process and reduce the impact of distressing memories. My approach is both compassionate and structured, helping clients build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and move toward lasting, meaningful change.
In our first session, we will take time to get to know you and what is bringing you to therapy. We will talk through your current concerns, any relevant background, and what you are hoping to get out of this process. You are welcome to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to cover everything right away. I will also walk you through my approach, including how we might incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and answer any questions you have. By the end of our session, we will begin identifying goals and creating a plan that feels supportive, manageable, and tailored to you.
I bring a trauma-informed, structured, and compassionate approach to my work. I specialize in helping clients understand how past experiences continue to influence their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while creating a grounded and supportive space where meaningful change can occur. What sets my approach apart is my use of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which allows us to work more efficiently in processing and reducing the impact of distressing memories. When appropriate, this can help shorten the length of time needed in therapy while still supporting deep, lasting healing. In addition to insight-oriented work, I focus on practical skill-building, helping clients strengthen emotional regulation, shift unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others so they can move forward with greater clarity, stability, and confidence.
I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma, including childhood trauma, relationship trauma, and life events that continue to impact their emotional well-being. My clients often struggle with anxiety, overthinking, emotional dysregulation, or difficulty setting boundaries, and may feel stuck in repeated patterns or relationships. I am best suited for clients who are ready to begin understanding and healing from these experiences. I offer a trauma-informed approach and incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for clients who are interested in a more focused, efficient method to process and reduce the impact of distressing memories. I support clients in building insight, developing practical coping tools, improving emotional regulation, and creating healthier relationships so they can feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives.
Other specialties
I identify as
EMDR
I am trained in trauma-focused therapies, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). In my practice, I use ART to help clients process and reduce distress related to traumatic memories using guided eye movements and imagery techniques. My approach focuses on helping clients resolve distress efficiently while building emotional regulation and resilience.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help you understand how trauma affects your thoughts, feelings, and reactions, while building coping skills and safely working through difficult experiences so they feel less overwhelming.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns of thinking that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, trauma responses, stress, or low self-esteem and develop healthier, more balanced ways of viewing themselves and their experiences. Clients learn practical tools to challenge negative thinking, reduce excessive worry, manage intrusive thoughts, and build more effective coping strategies.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach, which means I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel respected and in control. I understand how past experiences can impact your emotions and reactions, and I work with you at your own pace to help you feel more grounded, confident, and empowered.
