DeAundria Boleware
I am a compassionate, energetic, and optimistic therapist who believes that therapy should be a safe space where you can be your authentic self, without judgement. I bring warmth, humor, encouragement, and an empowering approach to every session. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, help you recognize your strengths, and support you in creating meaningful change. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Work, with more than 6 years of experience working in psychiatric settings and providing therapy. My clinical experience has allowed me to support individuals and families navigating a wide range of emotional and life challenges.
I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, help you recognize your strengths, and support you in creating meaningful change.
I work with children and adolescents experiencing emotional, social, academic, and family challenges; individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and major life adjustments; and women experiencing stress, burnout, identity concerns and life transitions. I also provide caregiver support and work with families seeking healthier boundaries, stronger communication, and greater understanding of one another. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating experiences related to teen pregnancy and the challenges that can accompany major life transitions.
First session
During the first session, we will focus on getting to know you, understanding your story, and exploring what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, personal history, current challenges, and goals for treatment. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and sharing at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying your needs and developing a plan that supports your growth, healing, and overall well-being.
Strengths
I bring empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to creating a safe, judgement-free space where clients feel heard and understood. My approach balances emotional support with accountability, helping clients recognize their strengths, explore challenges, and work toward meaningful change. I believe in meeting clients where they are while empowering them to grow, build resilience, and become the best version of themselves.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is anyone who is ready to begin their therapeutic journey, whether they are navigating a difficult life transition, healing from past experiences, or simply seeking a better understanding of themselves. You don't have to have everything figured out to start therapy. I welcome individuals who are open to exploring their experiences, building self-awareness, and working toward meaningful change at their own paces.
