Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance to build a trusting connection, discuss what brings you to therapy, and identify your goals for growth and healing. Clients can expect a safe, supportive space to share their experiences, explore challenges, and begin developing a personalized plan with practical tools to support their journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring compassion, authenticity, and a strong commitment to helping individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered. My approach is both supportive and challenging—I provide a safe space for clients to process their experiences while also encouraging growth, accountability, and meaningful change. My experience working with diverse populations, particularly individuals navigating complex emotional challenges, trauma, and relationship difficulties, has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are. I understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs, strengths, and goals. I believe in balancing validation with gentle challenge. I will hold space for clients when they need support, while also helping them identify patterns, build healthier coping skills, and move beyond barriers that may be limiting their growth. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable and supported enough to make lasting changes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My preferred clients are individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives. I enjoy working with individuals who are navigating emotional regulation challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, self-esteem struggles, and difficulty managing intense emotions. I have a special passion for supporting individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, trauma histories, self-injury behaviors, and those who are seeking healthier ways to cope with emotional pain and life’s challenges. I also enjoy helping clients improve communication, strengthen relationships, develop confidence, and build skills to manage stress and overwhelming emotions. The clients I connect with most are those who are willing to be open, explore their experiences, and take steps toward personal growth. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel accepted, supported, and empowered while also learning practical tools to create lasting change.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and creating healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges. My approach focuses on balancing acceptance and change—helping clients feel validated while also building the skills needed to make meaningful progress. Through DBT, I help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and coping strategies. I use DBT techniques to support individuals experiencing challenges such as self-injury behaviors, emotional overwhelm, trauma responses, relationship difficulties, and difficulty managing impulsive behaviors. DBT is a collaborative and skills-based approach that empowers clients to better understand their emotions, increase self-awareness, improve communication, and build a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
