New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping individuals find balance, clarity, and healing in the midst of life’s challenges. I specialize in working with adults—particularly women and helping professionals—who are navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, while also honoring the importance of each client’s unique experiences, values, and cultural background. I use an integrative style that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, mindfulness, and, for those who desire it, faith-based counseling. I believe that therapy should be both practical and meaningful—providing you with tools you can use in your daily life while also creating space for deeper insight and lasting change. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we will work to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward a more grounded, intentional, and fulfilling life.
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background that may help guide our work together. This is also your opportunity to share what you’re hoping to gain from therapy and ask any questions you may have about the process. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you—there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready to. I’ll also begin to get a sense of your goals and discuss how we can work together using an approach that fits your needs. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of next steps and how therapy can support you moving forward. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and more at ease about the process.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the way I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic and, when desired, faith-informed perspective. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model—each client’s experience is unique, so I tailor therapy to meet your specific needs, goals, and values. This may include a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, mindfulness, and deeper insight-oriented exploration. In addition to building practical coping skills, I focus on helping clients understand the underlying patterns that contribute to their current challenges. This allows for not just symptom relief, but meaningful, lasting change. For clients who are open to it, I also incorporate spiritual principles to support a deeper sense of alignment, purpose, and healing. Clients often share that they appreciate the balance of structure and depth in our work together. You can expect a space that is both supportive and goal-oriented—where you feel heard and understood, while also being gently challenged to grow and move forward in a more intentional way.
I am best positioned to serve adults—particularly women and helping professionals—who are navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are high-functioning and capable in their personal and professional roles, yet internally feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in unhelpful patterns. They often find themselves prioritizing others while struggling to care for themselves in sustainable ways. I work well with individuals who are seeking more than temporary relief and are ready to engage in deeper, meaningful work. My clients are often open to self-reflection and interested in understanding how their thoughts, past experiences, relationships, and beliefs impact their current well-being. Some are also looking to integrate their faith or values into the healing process. Together, we focus on building insight, developing practical coping strategies, and creating lasting change. My approach is especially supportive for those who are motivated for growth, open to an integrative style of therapy, and ready to reconnect with a sense of balance, clarity, and purpose in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. Together, we develop practical strategies to build healthier thinking habits, improve emotional regulation, and support meaningful, lasting change. CBT is especially helpful for managing anxiety, stress, and negative self-talk.
Attachment-based
Attachment-based therapy focuses on how early relationships shape current emotional experiences, relationship patterns, and sense of safety. I help clients explore these patterns in a supportive, nonjudgmental space to build healthier connections with themselves and others. This approach is especially valuable for healing relational wounds and strengthening emotional security.
Christian Counseling
Christian counseling integrates faith with evidence-based therapeutic practices for clients who desire a spiritually grounded approach. I incorporate biblical principles, prayer (when appropriate), and spiritual reflection to support healing, purpose, and emotional wellness. This approach honors your faith while addressing life’s challenges with compassion and clinical insight.
Eclectic
My eclectic approach allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from a variety of evidence-based methods and holistic practices. I integrate techniques such as CBT, attachment work, mindfulness, and somatic or faith-based strategies to create a personalized treatment experience. This flexibility ensures that therapy aligns with your goals, values, and lived experiences.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based therapy helps clients develop present-moment awareness and a deeper connection to their thoughts, emotions, and body without judgment. I guide clients in using mindfulness practices to reduce stress, manage anxiety, and increase emotional regulation. This approach supports greater self-awareness, inner calm, and intentional responses rather than reactive patterns.
