When I'm not working I enjoy walking in the park, going to the gym, going on cruises and hanging out with my wife and kids.
First session
What clients can expect from me is to be present, compassionate, attentive, inquisitive.
Strengths
Although I have a knowledge of theories and interventions, I'm fully present as human not an expert at doing life.
Ideal clients
I believe I can help assist any client but I'm my best when clients are looking to work collaboratively. I work best with clients ranging from 16- 60 who are experiencing, career transition/loss, identity crisis, burnout, depression, shame, guilt with high responsibility. My goal for all my clients is to help you reparent your self through an compassionate integrated lens.
Treatment methods
Humanistic
My approach is down to earth with an inherent understanding that I'm no different than the people I serve and in my experience its shows mainly by there positive affect at the end of the session and them verbalizing me helping them feel relief.
Narrative
In my experience some client's instantly can synthesize there narrative. Sometimes I use movies, in particular character's from those movies to externalize this concept for client's understanding of internal narratives.
Psychodynamic
This is the hallmark of my approach mainly through explorating family of origin/social learning experiences.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
My approach is humanistic so I always explore pressuring issues and if there are no immediate safety concerns I assist the client developing a solutions to there problems.
Psychoeducation
I believe in empowering clients to help themselves and one way is through psychoeducation.
