Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wishing you could reconnect with the joy you once felt in your relationships and life? Balancing a career, marriage, and family can be deeply challenging, especially with today’s pressures. As someone who’s been married to my best friend for 40 years while raising well-adjusted children, I understand how stressful these roles can be. Many couples find themselves worn down by the lack of support from their partner or children, and the financial and emotional demands of daily life. Together, we can work to ease this strain and help you find direction and fulfillment again.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with a brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is integrative meaning that it will vary depending on the client with whom I am working. My methods will be practical and give you real application for the concerns you have. Here are just a few of my most recent client testimonials. Gail is someone who keeps it real and completely gets it. I don't know how it works with pairing therapists and clients but they got it right first try. And I don't see myself switching anytime soon. Gail is amazing!!!! Very understanding, and inspiring! Gail is super amazing and very sweet. She listens to all my concerns and truly cares about others. She's like my second mom and takes my feelings into consideration. I wouldn't trade her for anything. Thank you so much for everything Gail !! Gail is always a delight to speak to. She lets me ramble in true adhd fashion and is also knowledgeable and relatable. She is also friendly and engaging, both of which are very important to me.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

Biblical or Christian counseling is an approach to holistic soul care that is informed, bound, and shaped by the Scriptures, the authoritative Word of God. This form of counseling seeks to apply God’s truth to every area of life, particularly when someone is struggling with sin and the trials brought on by living in a fallen world. This is done by lovingly pointing counselees to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, focusing on change rooted in a heart that longs to please the Lord, and providing practical instruction on how to live in a way that honors God in every circumstance.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

Therapeutic sessions include the child and parent or primary caregiver. The primary goal of CPP is to support and strengthen the relationship between a child and his or her caregiver as a vehicle for restoring the child's cognitive, behavioral, and social functioning.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be used to address a wide range of mental health conditions and personal challenges. It's particularly effective for anxiety, depression, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and problems related to sleep, relationships, and stress management. Essentially, if you're struggling with negative thought patterns or behaviors that are impacting your well-being, CBT can be a valuable tool.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling can be beneficial at various stages of a relationship, not just when things are severely strained. If you're experiencing frequent arguments, difficulty communicating, a decline in intimacy, or feeling disconnected, it might be time to consider professional help. It can also be a proactive step to strengthen communication, manage stress, and navigate major life transitions together.
