I'm a licensed transpersonal therapist practicing in Georgia. I went to grad school at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, which is a pioneer in mind, body and spiritual approaches. I have a passion for integrating Western psychology, Eastern philosophy and holistic modalities.
The first session is a time for you to express your specific symptoms, concerns and goals for therapy. My approach is down to earth, compassionate and open. I encourage open direct communication of your needs and concerns regarding therapy throughout our time together.
I have almost 20 years of experience as a transpersonal therapist and believe in the innate wholeness of everyone and our innate drive toward healing and self-actualization. I facilitate awareness, expression, and integration between body, emotions, mind and spirit with compassion.
I love working with adults in transition; school, career and relationship changes and challenges. I also understand the specific concerns of women in midlife, a time of transition and soul searching.
Trauma, dysfunctional families, and the stress of modern life have caused us to become cut off from our bodies, our breath, and deeper levels of consciousness. I use a variety of modalities including breathwork, somatic mindfulness, and guided imagery to bring you into your body and the felt-sense of the present moment where true holistic healing can begin.
I customize my therapeutic approach to each client based on their needs and preferences. I believe that hurtful experiences from our past can cause problematic subconscious beliefs and behaviors to hold us back from our essential wholeness. I us a variety of modalities to create a safe, nurturing and non-judgmental environment to facilitate personal growth and alliviate suffering.
