My name is Christina Wong, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California since 2007. I am bicultural, and fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. My first job as a social worker was working in a group home for children and youth in Hong Kong. Providing family therapy with troubled teens and their families remained the primary focus of my practice for more than a decade. I also worked with adults of all ages, from young adults to geriatrics. I am humbled to witness the positive impact brought to my clients when a renewed sense of self is obtained, and the innate abilities to solve problems is fostered. This fuels me to dedicate myself to this work for many more years to come. I use an eclectic, person-centered and humanistic approach to meet the clients where they are. I enjoy working with adults of all ages. Of particular interest are immigrants or children of immigrant families to the United States.

(LGBTQ affirming) - Do you have big emotions that are really hard to manage, feel drained by unhealthy relationship patterns, navigating a major life change, struggle with triggers and guilt, break up/divorce, or just feeling anxious and overwhelmed by life. When you spend all of your energy managing everyone else's moods or trying to keep your head above water, it's easy to lose sight of who you are. My style is down to earth, engaged, and collaborative (vs just listening and validating you). I will provide you a safe space to share your story, and help you identify the patterns that keep you stuck . Together, we can learn new tools that actually work so that you can reclaim your sense of peace. I try to balance warmth and validation with honest feedback.

I’m a Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) who offers a warm, grounded space to slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and create meaningful change. My style is relational and attachment-informed—meaning we pay attention to patterns that show up in relationships, and how earlier experiences may shape the way you cope, connect, or protect yourself today. I’m also strengths-based and practical: we’ll build on what’s already working while using CBT tools to reduce overwhelm, challenge unhelpful thought loops, and practice skills that support steadier mood, boundaries, and healthier relationships. The impact my clients often experience is feeling more emotionally stable and confident in themselves, with a clearer understanding of their triggers and patterns. Over time, many people report improved self-compassion, stronger communication, more secure attachment in relationships, and an increased ability to tolerate difficult emotions without shutting down or spiraling. My goal is for you to leave therapy with both deeper insight and real-life tools so you can feel more connected, empowered, and able to live with authenticity and intention.

You may be coming to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by patterns that keep repeating in your life or relationships—or by a situation that has disrupted your sense of stability. You might be navigating a loss, a major transition, or ongoing pressure that has left you depleted. Your body and emotions may be holding more than words alone can explain. I offer a relational, trauma-informed space where we can slow down together and create more choice in otherwise habitual patterns of responding. Over time, many people feel more at ease in their bodies, clearer about their needs, and more confident in how they relate to others and themselves.

Hello. I am a licensed social worker in California. I began practicing in the mental health/behavioral health field in 2011. I originally was licensed in Maryland in 2015 but then returned to California in 2016. Since starting in the field, I have worked with individuals ranging in age from 4 years old to 75 years old; most experience working with individuals between the ages of 10 and 35. I have experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, depression, anxiety, parenting problems, and relationship issues. I am an ally of the LGBTQI community and can provide a safe, telehealth space for them. Unfortunately, at this time, I cannot accommodate individuals seeking letters for emotional support animals or those mandated by the court or legal system for therapy. With that said, my goal in being a counselor, is to assist my clients in meeting their identified treatment needs. I am flexible and willing to do whatever I need to do to assist you and help you in any way that I can. If when viewing my profile, you feel as though I am a good fit, but my schedule does not meet your scheduling needs, please feel free to send me a message as I may be able to fit you in at a different time. I work evenings and weekends.

I’m Dr. Saira Jhutty, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in fertility-related mental health and postpartum care. I support individuals and couples navigating infertility, third-party reproduction, and postpartum anxiety or depression. My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a strong emphasis on self-compassion, values-based living, and helping you navigate uncertainty in a way that feels sustainable and grounded. We focus less on “fixing” your emotions and more on helping you build a meaningful relationship with them — especially during seasons where control feels limited. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and attuned. I believe healing happens in relationships that feel safe, steady, and respectful of your pace. Whether you’re navigating infertility, pregnancy after loss, postpartum anxiety or depression, identity shifts after becoming a parent, or complicated emotions you didn’t expect to have — you don’t have to carry it alone. Whether they are struggling with depression, anxiety, identity, and/or relationships, I focus on helping clients feel happier and more confident in their everyday lives. After graduating from Northwestern University with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have spent the last four years helping people struggling with acute depression and anxiety symptoms as well as any other symptom that has significantly impacted their lives. I have helped clients make life-changing steps toward recovery to create the lives they want to live.

I believe that therapy can be Fun, Inspiring, and Healing (with hopefully some good LAUGHS if possible.) As a child, I was put on academic probation twice, expelled at one point, and even attended military school. My life/travel experiences (volunteered in an orphanage in Nepal, worked at Mother Teresa's House for the Destitute and Dying in Calcutta, India, photographed the Rohingya genocide in Bangladesh), have shaped and informed my humanity to serve clients as a therapist now.

Hi there! I'm Tritia, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) here in sunny California. I help those who aren't able to help themselves and instead help everyone else first. We will identify the barriers and challenges that make it difficult to make you the priority. We'll utilize an integrative approach, tackling those unhelpful thoughts while ensuring that your whole self is being worked on as well. I offer a no-frills, conversational style approach with different interventions sprinkled in to help you with anxiety, people-pleasing, and/or perfectionist traits. I provide a (virtual) space that's tailored to your goals and needs. I meet you where you are, even if you get a bit "creative" with your language. I am not a blank slate therapist, meaning you will engage with someone who will authentically show up in sessions. Contact me and let's see how we can work together!

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by California rather than a city like LA?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in California. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across California from San Francisco to San Diego! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in California.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What happens during the first therapy session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
