Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is used for a variety of mental health concerns. I often utilize this modality to assist clients with overwhelming emotions in efforts to increase understanding of emotions, what causes them to keep coming back, and how to manage them.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT is often utilized for clients who are experiencing challenges with emotion regulation whether that's due to anxiety, hyper vigilance, or something else. DBT focuses on skill building so that big emotions can be managed and clients feel more in control of their lives.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is most often used to encourage rapport building and to demonstrate a safe/non- judgmental space for clients to learn and grow. This modality can be especially helpful for clients experiencing difficulty with decision making, difficulty meeting life goals, difficulties adjusting to life stressors, etc.
Psychoeducation
Psycho-education is a common element added into the therapeutic experience to assist clients in better understanding symptoms, causes of symptoms, barriers towards change, etc. The more knowledge and understanding a client has, the better chance of increasing self awareness and tackling symptoms effectively.
Strength-Based
Strength-based is a therapeutic approach that is implemented at every session. This approach identifies and emphasizes positive and helpful characteristics of clients to use in their own therapy experience to help them along their journey. Clients have unique characteristics about their personality that can be helpful when it comes to managing symptoms and feeling better.

I had a previous experience with Sarah Jones. I found her to be very knowledgable regarding the science of behavior and trauma reactions I fully trust Sarah to provide a competent treatment plan that I believe is well thought out and effective. Sarah has a calming gentle demeanor yet demonstrates a strength and integrity in her work I have noticed great improvement in my emotions and how I view my thoughts. I would rate Sarah 10 of 10
