Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) located in Pennsylvania. I obtained my Master’s degree from Carlow University and have been working in this field for five years. My focus is to support individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and relationship challenges, guiding them towards reaching their maximum potential. In addition, I have experience working with individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, and I maintain a strong cultural awareness during counseling sessions.

Over the past 16 years, I worked in two Veterans Outpatient Clinics, where I had the privilege of supporting both male and female veterans. My areas of focus include trauma, PTSD, childhood sexual abuse, domestic abuse, relationship concerns, depression, and anxiety. My approach is to meet the client where they are and assist them in improving their lives.

He is licensed and certified in multiple states and works with adults (18 Years +). He has several specialty care areas in mental health therapy, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Trauma-Focused, Psychodynamic Therapy, Positive Psychology. I do not offer couples or family therapy at this time. He works with various Life Transitions, Coming-Out, Sexual Orientation, Gender Issues, Men's Issues, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Geriatrics, LGBTQ+, Bias, Race, Ethnicity, Discrimination, Trauma, Career, Vets/Emergency Responders and Co-Occurring Disorders. I have been working with individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use, sexual addiction, and mental health challenges for the past ten years. I have a real heart to walk alongside you to encourage, support, and empower you to move forward in your recovery needs. I graduated from Liberty University in 2014 with an MA in Professional Counseling and completed a Doctoral program specializing in treating trauma-related challenges. I approach recovery through the eyes of motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

I am a veteran of the helping professions, having served since 1982 in some capacity or another, and I still find excitement in the possibility of helping those who need such assistance. I am currently licensed in two states, both North Carolina and Pennsylvania. I find many people respond to my ability to simply listen and that shows that they do not often feel they have been heard and sometimes this is all that is necessary to start the journey to begin healing. Certainly more is often required, and helping people connect with effective treatments whether provided by myself or not is the best help that can be given.

I am a Licensed Psychologist who earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from the City University of New York completing my internship training at NYU Bellevue Hospital. I began my career as a certified school psychologist in the early 1980s and have been a licensed psychologist since 1995. I have treated a diverse population trained many therapists and psychologists. I believe in the each persons drive toward positive mental health. I am strength based in my treatment approach, building on the client resiliency.
