If you want someone to hold you accountable, being direct and honest and the mirror to help see yourself clearly....then you found the right therapist. I am not the type of therapist to take your time and money, if you don't do the work. Therapy is work and there's "homework," in the time we don't see eachother to self reflect on. If you are ready for change, then let's meet to see if we are a fit!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, it is an introduction to each other. You get a chance to tell me what's going on and why now ( for therapy) and I get a chance to tell you more about me and how I counsel. It's a great way to ensure we are a good fit and if not, that's okay, nothing personal. I want to support you getting help and growing anyway possible- even if that means to find a better fit and referral:)

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am real. I won't BS you...I won't act like I am better than you or judge you...we are all human. But, I will call you out if what you say you want isn't matching your actions and challenge you to change your thoughts and actions to push you to the best version of yourself.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am asked to describe my ideal client...I don't have an ideal client. I guess the only thing I ask is being open and willing to do the work.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience? years and years of learning about the brain and how it works and how our feelings are created by our thoughts and then teaching others about this within schools and now outside of schools.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Again, it's important to have goals and focus on the solutions. When people only focus on problems, they get mentally stuck.
