Hello I'm Jackie. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? Are you faced with emotional challenges, do you long for clarity on the how, the why, and the what to do, and because understanding is always that one step closer to your healing I will help you answer the tough questions. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, communication, relationship issues, grief, self worth, and more, you may need the help of a professional to help you on your journey to psychological health. I understand that facing the insurmountable stresses of life leaves many feeling uncertain about their place and purpose in the world. This is why I utilize a person-centered, evidence based approach to therapy that allows an individual the opportunity to discover and identify abilitIes that lead to accessing a successful life. Providing a safe, judgment-free, trustworthy and compassionate environment is the space I create as a therapist. In this space I help individuals focus on their individual needs, validate their experiences, unlock their inner strengths, and in so doing, reclaim their power to navigate a fulfilling life that is healed.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive in the specifics challenges you're facing as well as going over the intake form you filled. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Person Center therapy, Behavior Modification Techniques, Career Counseling, Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as Trauma Based Therapy. Within the last two years since the pandemic I have focused on working with individuals diagnosed with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, behavioral disorders, and pandemic related situational issues. A person centered approach in conjunction with other specific to need approaches allow a direct pathway to helping clients navigate family, relationships, self-esteem, social skills building, life transitions issues and the overwhelming lost we all have experienced throughout this pandemic.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working with families and couples offers great reward for me as a therapist, because, whenever family systems are breached and subsequently repaired family structures are far more resilient in the face of many other adversities. It is in this area of work I find I am most useful and helpful.
