Hi. I am an LPC from Pennsylvania. I received my masters in counseling psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University I have over 20 years experience providing trauma-informed support in a variety of settings. I have worked with people with a variety of concerns, including people dealing with depression concerns, anxiety concerns, substance use and misuse and healing from the impact of trauma.
In our first session, we will get to know each other and make sure that we are a good fit for each other. We will discuss what your goals are so that I can create a unique plan for you to follow in future sessions. We will work at your pace and comfort. I always hope to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable sharing what you need to share. I will begin this on our first day working with you.
I have worked in a variety of settings. I have helped a lot of people in their process of healing. I bring all these experiences to help you along in your process.
I love working with people who are motivated to begin their process of healing and their process of change. Change is hard. My clients are ready to do the hard work in their process of healing and change. I am there to provide support, encouragement and empowerment as they embark on this journey.
Every person is unique and ultimately is the expert in what would work for them. I see therapy as a path to find the path to get back to what works best for you.
I have been trained in several modalities, such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing. I don't believe in cookie cutter therapy. We will work together to find what works best for you.

She was very kind. She was able to go with my flow and really made me feel like I could share. When I got shy and less talkative, she asked questions and gave new topics to talk about!
