You might be here because life feels heavier than it should, your thoughts won’t slow down, or you’re tired of trying to hold everything together on your own. As a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, I work with people who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self‑doubt, and the everyday challenges that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is down‑to‑earth and collaborative. I don’t believe in one‑size‑fits‑all therapy — your experiences, your pace, and your goals matter. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, build practical tools you can use in real life, and create space for you to feel understood without judgment. I draw from evidence‑based practices, but just as importantly, I bring compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story. Whether you’re working on managing emotions, improving focus, building confidence, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected to the life you want to live.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is really about getting to know each other and making sure you feel comfortable. Many people come in feeling a mix of hope, nerves, and uncertainty — all of that is completely normal. Here’s how we’ll spend our time: 1. We’ll talk about what brought you in. You can share as much or as little as you’re ready for. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll ask gentle questions to understand what you’ve been experiencing and what you’d like support with. 2. We’ll explore your goals. Maybe you want to feel less anxious, manage stress better, improve focus, or just feel more like yourself again. We’ll start shaping what you want therapy to help you with, even if your goals are still forming. 3. I’ll explain how I work. I’ll walk you through my approach, what sessions typically look like, and how we can collaborate. You’ll have space to ask questions so you know exactly what to expect moving forward. 4. We’ll set a pace that feels right for you. There’s no rush. You’re not expected to dive into everything at once. The first session is about building trust and creating a foundation for the work we’ll do together. 5. You’ll leave with a sense of direction. By the end, you should have a clearer idea of how therapy can support you and what our next steps will be.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I focus on what’s actually happening in your life — not just theory. I use evidence‑based methods, but I translate them into practical tools you can use right away. Whether it’s managing anxiety, improving focus with ADHD, or navigating stress, we work on strategies that fit your real world, not a textbook. I’m collaborative, not clinical or distant. You won’t sit across from someone silently nodding or judging. I’m engaged, curious, and genuinely invested in understanding your experience. We’re a team — you bring your lived experience, and I bring my training and perspective. I help you make sense of your patterns without making you feel broken. Many clients come in feeling like something is “wrong” with them. My approach is about helping you understand why you feel the way you do, how your brain and emotions work, and how to shift patterns with compassion rather than criticism. I create a space where you can be honest without feeling overwhelmed. You don’t have to have the perfect words or a polished story. I help you slow down, sort through what’s going on, and explore things at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I’m grounded, straightforward, and human. Clients often say they appreciate that I’m warm and real — not overly formal, not detached, and not pretending to have all the answers. I show up authentically so you can, too. You’ll see progress — not pressure. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or endless talking without direction. It’s about steady, meaningful change. Clients often notice they’re coping better, understanding themselves more clearly, and feeling more capable in their day‑to‑day lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of the people I support come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to break out of patterns that keep repeating. They’re often thoughtful, self‑aware, and motivated for growth — they just need guidance, structure, and tools that actually work. My clients tend to value insight, but they also want more than insight — they want change. They’re looking for a therapist who is warm, direct, and engaged, someone who will help them understand what’s happening beneath the surface and support them in taking steps toward a healthier, more grounded life. -Anxiety and overthinking that make it hard to relax or feel present -Depression, low motivation, or emotional exhaustion -Stress related to work, school, caregiving, or major life transitions -People‑pleasing, perfectionism, or chronic self‑criticism -Relationship patterns that feel confusing, draining, or repetitive -Difficulty setting boundaries or advocating for their needs -Feeling “stuck” despite wanting things to be different

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my counseling work, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors — and to create meaningful, lasting change. CBT gives us a clear, practical framework for exploring what’s happening internally and learning new ways to respond to life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative and supportive. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, such as unhelpful thoughts, avoidance, or habits that no longer serve you. From there, we work on building skills that help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.
