LPC, 14 years of experience
I’m a therapist who works best with people who’ve spent years putting everyone else first and are finally ready to start showing up for themselves. Life can feel heavy and complicated, and sometimes we wake up and wonder how we got here- sometimes we lose ourselves somewhere along the way. Therapy with me looks like a conversation. It's honest and down-to-earth. I offer authenticity, warmth, compassion, and a little humor sometimes. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, clear, and connected to who you actually are—not just who you’ve had to be.
Our first session is about getting to know you—what’s been going on, what’s been hard, and what you’d like to be different. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. We’ll talk about what’s been getting in the way, what matters most to you, and start making sense of what’s been feeling overwhelming. You can expect a mix of compassion and curiosity. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and hopefully a little lighter.
I’m straightforward and genuine. My clients say therapy with me feels natural—honest, supportive. I help people understand themselves more clearly, recognize the patterns that keep them stuck, and find new ways to move through life’s challenges. My approach helps build resilience, self-compassion, and the kind of flexibility that lets you handle hard moments without losing yourself in them.
I work best with people who’ve spent years taking care of everyone else and are ready to start focusing on themselves. Many come to therapy feeling burnt out, anxious, or unsure of who they are outside of all their responsibilities and roles. They’re capable and driven but tired of carrying it all. I help them slow down, set boundaries, and reconnect with what truly matters so life feels more balanced, grounded and meaningful.
Life can be overwhelming and exhausting with overthinking, operating out of emotions, and self-doubt, but it doesn’t have to be that way. In our work together, we’ll use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build resilience and psychological flexibility—not by fighting or avoiding your thoughts/feelings/sensations/memories, but by changing your relationship with them.
