I believe in creating a safe environment for individuals to feel comfortable to begin the process of self-discovery, growth, and healing. I believe that therapy is a collaborative endeavor that requires genuine caring without judgment. I assist individuals in clarifying their goals for treatment, rather than adopting one modality for all individuals and presenting problems. I consider myself to be an active therapist combining my experience, education, creativity, and sense of humor with a warm, direct, and down-to-earth approach to counseling. I have a wide range of interests and specializations, including but not limited to, anxiety and panic, depression, relationship turmoil, life transitions, bereavement, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I utilize a range of interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First session includes: rapport building, narrative of problem areas, and brief treatment of intervention.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my strengths are client-centered solutions, problem-solving, and assisting the patient in finding healthy perspectives to embrace while experiencing symptoms of trauma, depression, loss, and anxiety.
