Therapy is all about engaging personal wellness. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques. I tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs, helping them to gain insight, build coping skills and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. My goal is to empower patients to take control of their mental health and lead more fulfilling lives. Whether you're struggling with a specific issue or seeking personal growth, I am here to support you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive restructuring: challenge distorted or unhelpful thoughts. Will assist patient in examining their automatic thoughts and replace them with more realistic and balanced thoughts. Behavior Activation: to help patients to overcome avoidance behaviors and engage in more positive, rewarding activities. Exposure Therapy: to help patients confront and reduce fear or anxiety by gradually exposing them to feared situation or thoughts in a controlled way. Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques: assist patients in becoming more aware of their thoughts and feelings in the present moment, and to reduce stress and anxiety.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Will engage present-moment awareness: assisting patients on focusing on the here and now, rather than worrying about the future or ruminating on the past. This will assist in anxiety reduction and depression , which often stem from these tendencies.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Engage in guiding patients to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Teach, model and engage distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and effective defense mechanisms.

Psychoeducation

Engaging the process of providing individuals and families with information and support to better understand psychological issues, mental health conditions, or coping strategies. The goal is to enhance knowledge, improve self-awareness, and empower individuals to manage their mental health or emotinal challenges effectively. Psychoeducation also includes education about mental health, psychological conditions, and coping strategies.
