New to Grow
Hello, and welcome — I’m so glad you’ve landed on my profile. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and have been working in the mental health field since 2014. Most of my career has been in Intensive Behavioral Health Services (formerly BHRS), where I served as a therapeutic staff support (TSS), mobile therapist, and behavioral specialist. I worked primarily with children ages 2–16, much of that time in elementary school settings. My work focused on supporting children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with ADHD and mood disorders, while collaborating closely with families and teachers. I also have experience as an in‑house school therapist, again working with elementary‑aged students. Although my background is rooted in child and family work, I have also supported adults through IBHS and outpatient settings. Throughout my career, I’ve spent meaningful time counseling families and partnering with educators, giving me a well‑rounded understanding of the challenges they face. Let’s focus on you—your life, your experiences, and everything that makes you uniquely you. You can share whatever feels right, whether it’s a little or a lot. In our sessions, we’ll talk about what led you to Grow Therapy and work together to create a treatment plan that reflects your goals and the direction you want to move in with your mental health.
I strive to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere where you can feel accepted and free to be your authentic self. My goal is to build a supportive space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping skills, and identify patterns that may be influencing your life. Through empathy, active listening, collaboration, and consistent support, I want you to feel truly understood and heard.
I specialize in addressing behavioral challenges in both home and school environments and have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. While my background is rooted in working with children, I’m also well‑aligned to help adults in education. I’ve worked alongside teachers and staff and have seen firsthand the stressors they manage, giving me a unique understanding of their needs. I also have extensive experience working with parents, which allows me to support them with insight, compassion, and practical strategies.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT works like a puzzle, helping you understand yourself by connecting the pieces of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. During our sessions, we’ll look at the patterns that lead to behaviors you may want to change—whether that’s overspending, binge eating, people‑pleasing, shutting down, or something else. When the pieces start to fit together, you gain the clarity needed to grow and make lasting change.
Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)
In our sessions, we can talk about the kind of parent you want to be and the steps that can help you get there. My experience working with children and families has shown me that strong, healthy connections can be created at any stage of life.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Sessions are all about you—your insights, your growth, and what you learn about yourself. I’m here to help you recognize your strengths, develop self‑compassion, and feel supported as you move toward your full potential.
Strength-Based
Let’s explore what makes you uniquely you, uncover your strengths, and use them to lift you up.
Reality Therapy
In my practice, I’ve learned how important it is to truly understand the reality of someone’s situation. When a person can accept what they’re facing and take responsibility for their own growth, real and lasting solutions begin to take shape.
