Sabrina Ware

LPC15 years of experience

My name is Sabrina, and I am a Pennsylvania-based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hold two master’s degrees from Liberty University: one in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and another in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. For more than 15 years, I have supported clients of all ages through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and complex family concerns. My approach is solution-focused in both thought and action. I believe meaningful change comes from learning practical tools, building new skills, and applying them consistently. Homework is an important part of this process. Peel. Process. Pursue. I am here to help you: • Peel back the layers. • Process your experiences. • Pursue a more peaceful life.

First session

The intake process is all about getting to know you and your needs. I seek to obtain insight into who you are, which includes your background, your family history, present stressors, medical and mental health history and conditions, as well as your goal for therapy. I also make space for you to ask questions about myself, and therapeutic modalities used in treatment. I also invite you to create treatment goals that are specific, measurable and achievable. Feel free to schedule a free 15-minute consultation phone call to see if we are a good fit and then we can go from there.

Strengths

As a therapist, I bring a relatable, understanding, and compassionate presence, along with emotional intelligence and an action-oriented approach. I strive to create a calming space where I can listen to your needs and gently challenge you to take meaningful steps forward. I approach therapy with hope and encourage clients to focus on the next step rather than the entire staircase. Meaningful change happens one step at a time. Active participation is imperative. Expect homework. Just as studying and completing assignments help us advance academically, therapy requires active participation and a willingness to “do the work.” Lasting change begins when you are ready to engage fully in the process.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who has struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues/concerns. They are ready to manage challenges in an effective way and open to therapeutic modalities that will lead to change. This client will be solution focused as opposed to problem focused. My ideal client is someone who is ready for positive change, open to new possibilities and willing to collaborate on their treatment goals.
