Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania. I obtained my social work degree from Marywood University. Throughout my 23 year career I have served North Central PA. I help individuals that have experienced trauma, losses, addiction, divorce, relationship struggles, depression, and anxiety. I strive to ensure each of my clients are empowered throughout their treatment process. We approach your reason for seeking therapy at your pace.
In our first session we will take part in brief introductions. You will have the opportunity to explain what is bringing you to therapy. We will begin to explore your personal goals you are looking to achieve. I will always start sessions by inquiring what your goal for the session is. It is important for you to be in complete control of the session. I am here to support you as I ask clarifying questions to guide you through your treatment.
Having over 23 years experience assisting clients in their time of need throughout the lifespan has provided me with the understanding that we can overcome any obstacle life presents to us. I have developed a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach that ensures the clients comfort level to share their life experiences.
We walk through your life experiences to identify situations that continue to cause you distress. We utilize the eye movement sets in EMDR to assist in reprocessing your views about yourself associated with that traumatic event.
Your thoughts, feelings, and behavioral choices are interconnected. We utilize CBT to help you challenge those thoughts that keep you trapped in a negative cycle.
I will assist you in exploring your loss, what that loss means to you, and create a vision for yourself. We will create a safe place for you to explore your memories.
We will focus on increasing your self awareness. Identifying your strength for self direction.

After a particularly disturbing two weeks, Stacy helped me to see the situation more clearly. She also empowered me to react more proactively should something similar should happen again. Basically, we took a break from addressing my long-term goals to a really tend to my immediate needs, and I appreciate that she knew to do that and, in fact, did that well.

I’m excited to work with Stacy over the long haul. She seems to really understand me and what would benefit me in the short and long term. She made me feel heard and so much lighter in just one session. And we have only scratched the surface!
