I am a bilingual (Hmong and English) Asian American licensed therapist who has experience with children, teens and adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship problems. Being vulnerable and discussing personal matters can be a difficult, yet a transformative experience. My counseling approach is holistic, collaborative, and being culturally responsive using integrative mental health practices to empower personal growth.
Are you feeling sad, anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed and unsure on how to navigate stressors in your life? Do you feel stuck in a cycle of unfulfilling relationships and self-destructive patterns? Do you feel lost because you are trying, but you are plagued with self doubt and crippled by fears? Whether you are looking for a therapist to help you through a difficult life transition or support with a family member struggling with mental illness, I'm here to support you.
Some treatment modalities I am trained in and use include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Infant Mental Health, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP- a trauma informed relationship based approach for parents and young children), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My biggest strength are working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and couples counseling (couples counseling sessions and Family sessions are reserved for in-person sessions only).
