I have over 20 years experience working in a forensic setting addressing a range of mental health issues that include anger management, psychosis, general anxiety, depression, and trauma related symptoms. I offer therapy using cognitive based interventions along with mindfulness strategies to manage mood symptoms and control negative thinking patterns. I also offer assertive communication techniques to help improve communication style between partners, family, friends, and workplace.
Clients can start to feel good about the decision to participate in individual sessions, because it's a challenging journey that takes courage. Clients will begin to understand the process of therapy and how it can benefit them.
My strength, I feel, is to make the most out of each individual session, because it's your time to work on yourself. I try to foster that in each meeting so that you leave with a sense of progress and/or insight that you can build upon.
I am happy to work with clients who range from teenagers to elderly from various walks of life. I am particularly adept at assisting those who would like to develop their strengths and evolve into stronger, confident versions of themselves.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is an evidenced based approach that I have used throughout my career in both inpatient psychiatric settings at the prison as well as in the community. When applied consistently, the CBT model can yield positive outcomes for a range of problems including but not limited to phobias, panic episodes, anxiety, anger/impulsivity, and depression. By helping my clients become more in touch with both their conscious thought process and the decisions they make, they start a journey toward healing and self-empowerment.

Albert is a great guy to talk with. He is super relatable. Albert know how to give you credit for the milestones you are reaching and then help you set new goals for yourself. He has taught me a lot of great tools so that I can identify my own trigger and be able to work through my issues and communicate them with the people around me. All in all a great guy!!
