Hi, my name is Jaazar (Jay) Shalabi and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Are you struggling with past traumatic experiences, cycles of depression and/or anxiety? You can expect a very direct, no-nonsense approach as I am very direct and help hold you accountable towards treatment. You will not find what you WANT to hear, but what you NEED to hear. What you will takeaway is empowerment, confidence, and customized tools to utilize in managing your mental wellness and taking back control of your life the way YOU want to.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

Modern feminism approach is a strength based approach that customizes treatment to each individual. Tools derived from CBT,DBT, holistic approaches, mindfulness, and most importantly, self care; are. primary interventions customized to your experiences, symptoms, and most importantly life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a passion working with those who struggle with Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, Veterans(-integrating back to "cizi" life and supporting family's understand/support you with your struggles), cycles of anxiety/ and or depression, relationship concerns/issues, self esteem. empowerment and most importantly self-care.
