My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for many years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety and depression. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and depressed life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that combines aspects of behavioral therapy with mindfulness strategies. It’s based on the idea that accepting difficult thoughts and feelings rather than trying to control or avoid them can lead to a more fulfilling and meaningful life. ACT aims to increase psychological flexibility, which is the ability to stay open and adaptable in the face of life’s challenges. It’s used to treat a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and stress.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-Centered Therapy, also known as Client-Centered Therapy, is a humanistic approach. It emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship and the belief that people have an inherent capacity for growth and self-improvement. The approach is particularly effective in helping individuals develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and a sense of empowerment. It’s widely used in various settings, including counseling, psychotherapy, and personal development.
