LMFT, 7 years of experience
New to Grow
My name is Jennifer Limon and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I’m also a proud first-generation college graduate, raised by migrant worker parents who came to this country in search of a better life. Their journey shaped my values and inspired my passion for helping others navigate life’s transitions with resilience and purpose. I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults who are facing major life changes starting college, entering the workforce, dealing with stress or burnout, becoming a parent, or adjusting to a new life stage. These transitions can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to feel anxious, lost, or stuck. My goal is to help you build the tools and confidence to manage these changes, reduce anxiety and depression, and move forward with more clarity, calm, and self-compassion. You don’t have to go through this alone . I’m here to support you as you find your footing and create a life that feels meaningful and manageable.
In our first session, my goal is to really get to know you , your story, your background, and the experiences that have shaped you. We'll talk about how you were raised, any significant life events or traumas you've experienced, and what brought you to therapy now. I take a curious and compassionate approach, creating a space where you can begin to feel seen and heard without pressure to have all the answers. We'll explore what's currently going on in your life, what you're hoping to work on, and how therapy can support you. This session is the first step in building a connection and setting the foundation for meaningful work together.
I bring years of experience working with teens and young adults who are facing some of the toughest life transitions from starting college or a new job, to figuring out who they are and where they’re headed. I’ve also had the privilege of supporting mothers struggling with postpartum depression, helping them feel seen, supported, and hopeful again. Many of the clients I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, lost, or stuck comparing themselves to others, especially on social media, and feeling like they’re falling behind. If that sounds like you if you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, postpartum struggles, or even social media burnout I want you to know that you’re not alone, and healing is possible. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your life, reconnect with your sense of purpose, and learn how to care for yourself without shame or pressure. I combine deep clinical experience with a warm, down-to-earth approach to help you move forward not perfectly, but meaningfully.
My ideal client is someone who is ready for change, even if they’re not exactly sure where to start. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or just not like yourself and you're willing to do the work to feel better I’m here to support you with the tools and guidance you need. Therapy works best when you're open to learning, exploring your thoughts and feelings, and trying new ways of coping. I bring the knowledge, training, and support but your willingness to engage in the process is what drives real transformation. I especially enjoy working with teens and new moms and young adults who are navigating big life transitions, whether it's starting college, entering the workforce, managing stress and burnout, or stepping into new roles like parenthood. These are challenging moments but also powerful opportunities for growth and healing.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. When we work together using CBT, the goal is to help you gain insight into how your thinking patterns affect how you feel and act and to empower you with tools to make meaningful, lasting changes.
