Hello! I am currently seeing clients virtually throughout California. I enjoy helping adults become their authentic selves in a world that tries its best to control who they are and how they identify. I want to help my clients think outside the box society tries to put them in, help them think for themself, and hold space for them as they take the unbeaten path. I help clients with anxiety, life transitions, use trauma informed care, and I am EMDR trained.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I will ask open ended questions to get to know you more, your experiences, and what you expect from our therapy sessions. I will bring my authentic self to sessions as well, which I would describe as warm, thoughtful, friendly, and casual.

I am very authentic, while still being professional. My clients have told me my authenticity has helped them feel comfortable in sessions to be themselves without judgement.

I am determined to help my clients focus on their needs and empowerment. I am culturally sensitive and address racial and cultural challenges that have an effect on how we move through the world. I enjoy helping clients manage anxiety, life transitions, and setting healthy boundaries. I specialize in trauma informed therapy, so I enjoy helping clients struggling to get past traumatic or distressing events.
Trauma Informed Care
I use trauma informed care by creating an understanding of your past trauma, to connect how it effects your current emotions, thoughts, and actions. I will help you process your trauma, including challenging and unlearning unhealthy thoughts and behaviors connected to your trauma.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a way of processing trauma or other distressing memories. EMDR is holistic and somatic, in that it helps process trauma that effects your emotions, thoughts, and body. As trauma can be held in the body, EMDR helps create connections in the body and mind.
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic by exploring clients early life experience, and connecting how those experience effect your current thought patterns and behaviors. Psychodynamic is a great way to help clients unlearn unhealthy behaviors and understand where those behaviors came from.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness by increasing clients awareness of self. I use mindfulness by helping clients be present and grounded. Mindfulness is great for anxiety and stress, in it helps you feel calm in order to think more clearly and understand your needs.

This was my first therapy experience and I am incredibly grateful it was with Jasmine. I don't ever like sharing my personal history, but she made it easy to and I ended up sharing quite a lot with her. She made me feel heard and supported throughout the entirety of our first session.
