New to Grow
Welcome! I’m passionate about helping people untangle the impact of anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions so they can feel more grounded and at peace. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck, build practical coping tools, and strengthen your ability to set boundaries and move toward the life you want. My approach is both compassionate and direct, I’ll support you, but I’ll also challenge you to grow.
In our first session, you can expect a safe, supportive space where confidentiality is explained and respected. I’ll ask about your history, current concerns, and goals, while giving you a sense of my therapeutic style and how I can help. This first meeting is also about making sure you feel comfortable and that we’re a good fit to work together.
Clients describe me as genuine, approachable, and grounded. I draw from trauma-focused CBT, ACT, and strength-based approaches, always tailoring strategies to what works best for you. I’m skilled at balancing insight with practical tools, so you’ll leave sessions not only feeling heard, but also with something you can apply in daily life.
I work with adults and youth who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and want both support and clear strategies for change. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma histories, or challenges in relationships. I’m especially effective with people who feel “stuck” and want to build confidence, healthier boundaries, and resilience. My style blends warmth with evidence-based care, creating a collaborative process that helps clients move forward with clarity and strength.
I have several years of experience using trauma-focused CBT with clients who have complex trauma histories. In my practice, I integrate evidence-based CBT techniques with a trauma-informed lens, helping clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts while also building coping strategies to manage triggers and emotional distress. I focus on creating safety, supporting self-regulation, and pacing interventions so clients can process their experiences without becoming overwhelmed
I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, increase psychological flexibility, and live more consistently with their values. I use mindfulness, acceptance strategies, and committed action to support clients in building resilience and reducing avoidance.
I practice culturally sensitive therapy by honoring each client’s unique background, values, and lived experiences. I adapt interventions to align with cultural context, avoid assumptions, and integrate clients’ strengths and traditions into treatment. My approach emphasizes respect, humility, and openness, creating a safe space for clients to explore their concerns without feeling misunderstood or marginalized.
I take an eclectic approach by drawing from multiple evidence-based methods, including CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care, depending on each client’s needs. This allows me to tailor interventions in a flexible way, combining strategies that best support the client’s goals, strengths, and presenting concerns. My focus is always on creating a personalized and effective treatment plan rather than relying on a single model.
I use a strength-based approach by helping clients identify and build on their existing skills, values, and resilience. In practice, I highlight clients’ successes and inner resources to promote empowerment and confidence. This method shifts focus from problems to possibilities, supporting clients in creating lasting change through their own strengths.
