Hello. I am an LMFT and I have been practicing for over 30 years. I specialize in life transitions; how to look back to move forward, how to become unstuck and unafraid, how to find strength and courage to face whatever comes next. I meet and honor each client where they are without having an agenda of where they should go. That is up to them and hopefully, through our work together, they will dicover their path.
We will begin with introductions to each other and then set intentions and expectations. We will create a space together where the client feels safe and heard.
I have worked as a therapist and college counselor with humdreds of clients over the years. My greatest strengths are my intuitiveness and my ability to listen deeply and offer guidance based on what I hear and what I perceive is really going on. I am compassionate, funny, and love to engage with my clients authentically. Therapy does not have to be dark and foreboding, even when the subject matter is difficult to discuss.
I love working with adolescents and adults struggling to move away from and/or move forward towards change. I work best with clients who feel motivated and ready to do the work but find it hard to get out of their own way.
I have practiced psychodynamic psychotherapy for over 30 years. I provide my clients with a safe space to stop the noise and focus on the obstacles, patterns, behaviors, and traumas that interfere with them living their best life.
