About me

Welcome. My name is Christina! I am dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where real healing can begin, meeting you exactly as you are with warmth and zero judgment. With four years of clinical psychotherapy experience and nine years specializing in addiction counseling, I guide individuals through life’s toughest challenges, recovery, and personal transformation. My practice is built on collaboration, deep empathy, and evidence-based care, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward lasting growth and wellbeing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about building a safe, non-judgmental space to get to know you and your goals. Together, we’ll briefly cover administrative basics, discuss what brought you to therapy at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and explore your background and strengths. By the end of our time, we’ll collaborate on a personalized roadmap for your healing journey and make sure I am the right fit for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In our sessions, I focus on helping you understand your thinking patterns, navigate overwhelming emotions, and address anxiety and depression. Together, we’ll work on practical thought-management techniques while diving deeper into attachment styles and self-discovery, helping you connect with your true self

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I welcome adults (18+) from all cultures, backgrounds, and identities. My practice supports individuals seeking relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse, or those simply wanting a deeper connection with themselves. Therapy is a collaborative process. If you are ready to step outside your comfort zone, try new approaches, and explore a fresh perspective on your life, we will be a great match.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

It is natural to try to fight or push away uncomfortable feelings, anxiety, or cravings, but that struggle often leaves us feeling exhausted. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) takes a gentler approach. Instead of battling painful thoughts, ACT teaches you how to acknowledge them with mindfulness and drop the struggle. By learning to accept what is out of your control, you can free up your energy to focus on what truly matters—taking meaningful action aligned with your deepest values.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts heavily influence how we feel and act. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, action-oriented approach that helps you spot unhelpful thought patterns and reframe them into realistic, balanced perspectives. Instead of getting stuck in loops of worry, stress, or self-doubt, CBT gives you clear, hands-on tools to manage difficult emotions, shift everyday habits, and regain control of your life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

When emotions feel overwhelming or intense, finding steady ground can seem impossible. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides practical, compassionate skills designed to help you regain control during life’s most difficult moments. DBT focuses on balancing self-acceptance with positive change. You’ll learn hands-on tools to regulate strong emotions, navigate stress without feeling overwhelmed, improve communication in your relationships, and stay grounded in the present moment.

Motivational Interviewing

It is completely natural to feel stuck or uncertain when facing major life changes or addiction recovery. Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, supportive approach designed to help you navigate that ambivalence without pressure or judgment. Rather than telling you what to do, we work together to explore your personal goals and core values—empowering you to find your own reasons for change and build lasting confidence in your healing journey.

Humanistic

I believe that true healing begins when you are seen, heard, and valued for who you truly are. I use a humanistic approach, which means I view you not as a diagnosis to be fixed, but as a whole, capable person with the inner strength to heal and grow.
