My approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and strength-based, with the aim of helping clients develop a better understanding of factors that lead to distress, and developing effective coping skills to overcome their challenges.
I work with adults who are experiencing challenges related to recent or prolonged stressors. These may include life transitions, grief, trauma, medical and health issues, as well as relational and communication difficulties. I have extensive experience in treating anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, and bipolar disorders. l also work with clients who are grieving the loss of their companion animals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Using CBT, I help clients identify long-standing negative beliefs that have contributed to various difficulties, such as low self-worth, communication difficulties, feeling overwhelmed, depression and anxiety. Clients also learn how to evaluate these thoughts and the ways in which they negatively impact them, so that they can develop more objective and positive beliefs, as well as effective coping skills.
